Days of Violence

If you are into indie (low budget) thrillers as much as I am, then this movie is for you. The twist in the end I didn't see coming. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I can certainly appreciate what kind of story the film makers were trying to tell.

I came across this movie by accident while searching for another movie on Amazon Prime. The trailer intrigued me so I decided to check it out. Overall, I thought the movie was great! The acting was mediocre at times, but thought it got better as the film progressed. What intrigued me the most was the story and all the unexpected twists and turns. The movie keeps you hooked, well it kept me hooked and to me, that's important. I thought the story was going in one direction and it completely does a 180. I didn't see the end coming either.

If you're looking for a film that keeps you guessing, give this movie a shot. You might be as surprised as I was. Overall I give this movie an 8/10.

Looks like a home movie, sounds like a home movie, performed by amateurs. Awful plot that'll take time from your life that you'll never get back. Not even on your most boring days, during a pandemic lockdown is it worth watching this over paint drying. I've seen better infomercials and zoo cams of caged animals than this garbage. Stay away at all costs, even if it's free.

Days of Violence directed by Stuart G. Robertson is a smart well crafted film. It's fun and in the same breath terrifying. The script is so original and the acting effortless the audience will find themselves trapped in the film from the first act. Days of Violence plot twist and finale are so over the top that the film stays with you long after you exit the theatre. -Oaxaca FilmFest
