5 Dulquer Salmaan Films To Watch From The Early Days Of His Career!

In the early stages of his career, Dulquer Salmaan was primarily recognized as the son of the legendary actor Mammootty. However, over time, he successfully built his identity, establishing a strong fan base and becoming a prominent figure in Mollywood, with considerable recognition and brand value beyond the Malayalam industry.

Unlike his father, Dulquer does not release many films within a year. Since 2023, he has made only four appearances across both the big screen and small screen in two languages, which include one cameo, two lead roles in films, and one web series. In contrast, during the same period, Mammootty appeared in nine films across different languages and also starred in a web series.

Interestingly, in the early phase of his career, Dulquer Salmaan’s approach was similar to his father’s, with multiple film releases in a short span.

Unni Mukundan’s Marco is maintaining a steady pace at the box office, and in 6 days the action thriller stands at a total of 25 crore at the box office. It has already surpassed Dulquer Salmaan’s Kammatipaadam as the highest-grossing A-Rated Malayalam film.

In fact, Unni Mukundan has also surpassed the entire lifetime collection of his last Malayalam release, Jai Ganesha. It now aims to cross the lifetime collection of his last Tamil hit – Garudan, which was released in the year 2024.

On the sixth day, Wednesday, December 25, the film earned a total of 3.5 crore at the box office, as much as the previous day, Tuesday. It is expected that it would maintain the pace till the arriving New Year, making way for another Malayalam success before the year closes.

Unni Mukundan’s recent Malayalam film Marco is performing well at the box office. In two days, the film has earned 8.95 crore in India. In fact, it performed steadily in the two days. The film might be heading towards delivering another success from Mollywood.

On the second day, December 21, Saturday, the film earned 4.65 crore at the box office. This is a very minimal jump of 8% from the previous day’s 4.3 crore. In total, the film earned 8.95 crore in two days.

Almost Crosses Anweshippin Kandethum

The film is only 0.5 crore away from surpassing the entire lifetime collection of Anweshippin Kandethum, another successful film from the Malayalam Cinema this year, that earned 9 crore in India.
