This movie is great-like, unbelievably great. You'll totally get it once you watch it... or maybe you won't. We already know the story, but don't worry-they've managed to throw in some "surprises" that'll leave you shocked...
The screenplay? Oh, it's full of mind-blowing stuff-so much that your brain might just shut down to protect itself. Some scenes really make you wonder what the writers were thinking-or smoking.
The locations and costumes? Out of this world! Literally, like someone hit random on a Pinterest mood board. And the actors? They fit into their roles so perfectly... like a fork in a bowl of soup.
Manchu Vishnu in the lead? Absolutely fantastic. Truly a performance for the ages. Oscars, beware.
Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva isn't silly at all, no matter what people say. It's perfect... in some alternate universe. Kajal is cute and sexy.
Everyone else did okay-except Prabhas. Poor guy looks completely lost, and next to Manchu Vishnu (the star of the decade), he just fades into the background. Maybe they should've gone for someone more famous.
The last 40 minutes? An experience, no doubt. You'll either laugh, cry, or leave.
So yes, go watch it. Especially if you enjoy dark humor... or just want to test your emotional strength. God bless you and good luck.

Such a horrible screenplay if anyone values 3 hours pf valuable time refea8n from the movie . Story telling is at the lowest no proper BGM, cheap graphics . Hero has built body eating too much of meat but not investiled time to sharpen his acting skills. Expressions are horrible . Only saviour is 15 mins of prabhas. Better to watch it on OTT moving fast forward button.
I need my 3 hours of vaouable time back wasted my life trustong this horrible movie makers not worth watching....
Location is out of sync to movie, the primary focus is lost in story telling by director. Ecpressionless cast except prabhas.
Dont waste time.

Despite big names like Prabhas and several cameo appearances, the film fails to impress. The choreography lacked impact, and the story narration felt disjointed with no emotional depth or standout moments. Cameos seemed forced and underutilized, adding little to the plot. Even Prabhas's role was not well-developed, missing the powerful presence he's known for. Weak presentation, poor pacing, and inconsistent visuals further hurt the experience. Overall, it was a disappointing watch, earning just 4 out of 10-saved only by the excitement of the cameo characters. It's better for a call to manchu family can stop acting in the movies and start the production to make better career in the industry.
Kannappa (2025)
Kannappa portrays the spiritual transformation of Thinnan, a hunter and atheist, into a devout Shiva worshipper. Actor Vishnu Manchu portrays both the title character and Arjuna from the Mahabharata, delivering a compelling performance and bringing the reincarnation arc to life with powerful screen presence.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, who helmed the television adaptation of Mahabharat on Star Plus, Kannappa marks his feature film debut in Pan Indian Telugu cinema.
Shot in the scenic locations of Newzealand, Hollywood cinematographer Sheldon Chau has done remarkable work that reflect the tone and spirit of Indian cinema.
With a large cast and notable cameos, Kannappa is a grand devotional film aimed at a wide audience.
Negatives - Akshay Kumar, he is a Superstar, good actor, he lacks the majestic aura required for the role. It's not entirely his fault, portraying a Hindu God demands a certain depth and grace that many Bollywood actors seem to miss. At one point, he even walked in his signature Akshay Kumar style while dressed as Lord Shiva, So bad, and awkward. At the very least, he could have taken inspiration from #MohitRaina's iconic portrayal in the television series.
Also the flat lighting in Akshay Kumar scenes, reminiscent of classic devotional TV shows. In contrast, even Star Plus's Mahabharata featured more refined, atmospheric lighting. The film seemed to lack a dedicated visual stylist or look director. Although some VFX sequences were lame, the digital work done on Akshay's physique stood out positively.
Positives - Prabhas, his cameo was the highlight of the movie, that voice, that modulation, that aura, made my day. Wish his role had more screen time.
Also the Music and scores by Stephen Devassy, what a surprise. Never imagined an unknown could pulloff such a grand score for an epic spiritual film. Eagerly waiting for the full OST.
Also the heroine, she clearly understood the assignment, provided the beauty, in every frame she appeared.
The final 10 minutes were deeply disturbing. The visuals were a bit too intense, but Vishnu shined in the role.
All in all, it's a film made with good intentions, but it ended up as a lengthy 3-hour movie. A shorter theatrical cut could have made it more appealing to the general audience.
I would give this movie a decent 7/10. Watched original and dubbed versions of the movie, it seems Vishnu gave his own voice to every versions except Hindi.

Not worth👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻. 99% of the audience are Prabhas fans and that 20 mins of Prabhas screen presence is good other than that nothing great. Not a great writing, direction and screen play. The budget they put to make this movie is not justified at all. First half of the movie is not even worth 5 mins. Last 20mins of the movie is okay
Wait for OTT if you really want to watch.
