The idea of a modern technological society colliding with a magical world is undeniably fascinating, but regrettably the story lacks complexity and coherency when it comes to wordbuilding. Nevertheless, the story may still prove enjoyable to skim through, as long as you don't try to think about it too deeply.
Also since the protagonist is merely a Lieutenant, you should expect a substantial number of events to be of a respective magnitude.
Other than that, characters are quite likable and their interactions are fairly amusing, so if you are in a mood for a naive adventure it might be worth giving a shot.

This series really would have been a great one if there was some power system like magic and other things.still this series is enjoyable.this is kind of some unique isekai.well i will not spoil for you.find out for yourselves. Yeah the storyline is unique and interesting, character art style is average.(not good not bad either)love the protagonist for his helping nature towards other with a realistic way.it is the kind of isekai where they can travel between the two world.i would have love to if the fighting scenes were more intese.only one thing i found disappointment that the fight scenes are predictable.i mean well if you fight an ancient world with modernization weapons you know the outcome.well all things aside this series is interesting and you will definitely hooked and waiting for season 3. Definitely worth watching 👍
Another surprising tv series from japan and this is a goodie. It grabs you from episode one and for the bulk of season one you are always wanted to find out what happens. The character development is good, so you begin to care for the princess and the various JSDF troops involved. The only issue is by season two it becomes a bit too predictable, as well as have a number of good characters missing. Apart from that there are a number of simple things which could be done to put the tension back into the show, but as of now there is no season 3. SEason 1 and 2 are well worth a watch.
Parents will need to be careful letting their children watch as this show, like many from japan, deals with very adult and confronting topics. But there is no fan based content here, so nothing too naughty.
Try to think if modern era is mixed with medieval era (with dragon, elfs, mage, and gods exactly) Uuuh, that's must be awesome.
This anime is certainly one of the best anime's out there. It's really worth your time. You could say It's isekai. I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this. One of the best isekai I've ever seen. After watching you will want to watch season 3.
