The Radiant One

Caught it when it was playing in Vegas with my girlfriend. I think it was even shot in Vegas, but it doesn't feel like Vegas. I want buy a copy of it, but not sure where I can find it. It's starts off about this dude who thinks he's done bad by his wife but can't quite piece it all together. He turns himself into the cops to try and do the right thing. It's a roller-coaster from the start. I didn't see the end coming or the other elements. NO SPOILERS HERE! Hoping it's released on home video soon, so I can buy a copy. It really stood out to me. Strong acting by the main actors, even the little girl was good. Kind of touched my heart, but I'll never tell my girlfriend that ha! I'm going to keep an eye on these filmmakers and cast.

The story is well woven together. It escalates as is progresses. I think everything has meaning in this film. Nothing seems to be in vain. It's very well thought out and really enjoyed it. The ending is amazing. Very original.

I know some people who have been asking for this movie and I can say it's for sale online cause I bought it off iTunes myself. My sister told me about this film and she got a copy on Google Play. She originally saw it in theaters back in January. I just finished streaming it with my family and it was incredible. I don't know anything about these people but they are very good. It didn't look like a huge budget but the story was there, the acting was there, the direction was there, the cinematography was there. It almost looks like they shot it on film, but I saw in the credits they used a red camera, which I was impressed by. Great talent all around.

With the oddball mystery thriller "The Radiant One" we encounter an ultra low-budget production that naturally winds up being.........surprisingly kind of okay, actually.

Jack-of-pretty much all trades for this flick Kristopher Dolphin has crafted a roundly well-thought-out story that manages the freak-out as well as the touchy-feely.

And that's pretty damn tough to pull off even if you've got a "Cruiseian" size pot to play with.

I love indie films so based on the reviews I thought it sounded pretty good. NOPE! There are no words to describe just how terrible this movie is. Even though this movie takes place over a period of time everyone single person in the movie is always wearing the same clothing and the same hair. I kept waiting for things to get better but it never happened. If you insist on watching this wait until it's free.
