Abnormal Attraction

This movie has Ron Jeremy in it. That should tell you all that you need to know about this lowbrow garbage film. Pathetically cheap attempt at monster design- they are like Halloween costumes. Crappy acting, and obnoxious characters...I would be embarrassed to be in this film. I don't know who this could possibly be made for, but I couldn't finish watching it. I was sucked in by the shocking amount of positive user reviews here. After giving this movie a try, these reviews are either fake or must be left by people who likely love spoof movies that feature Carmen Electra- like Date Movie, Epic Movie, and Meet the Spartans. This is the same type of film. Beware.

As a cinematographer, the first thing that stood out to me was the horrible lighting. I saw better lighting on beginning film student projects. In fact of the entire film reminded me one of the first films I worked on out of film school. From the quirky characters to the continued use of crude Sex terms I almost thought it might even have been by the same writers and director, but it's not.

Story wise it flows pretty well, and uses an interesting bump point method to move the story forward, otherwise it wouldn't have worked.

Some parts were a little entertaining, considering the plot line. I don't hate it, it's pretty creative, but the awards it won must be from small-time film festivals.

The film board I saw that made me decide to watch this movie implied it had a 6.8 IMDB rating, I'm not sure where it got that from, maybe it was shown at a California Canabbis Film Festival.

If you got nothing else to watch. This might keep you from being completely bored.

The fact that it had Ron Jeremy make an appearance yells, low budget B-movie

All the lame, cheap, awful "movies" feature tons of fake reviews these days, contributed by users with one review only according to their profiles. The same is the case here. Said fakers praise the crap out of this piece of garbage with the most ridiculous attributes they can think of. Nowadays you really have to check peoples profiles on IMDb after reading very positive reviews, what a bummer!

I only watched around 30 minutes, didn't laugh once during that time, although I already had the impression this movie was a waste of time within the first couple of minutes. I should have followed my gut feeling sooner and I would have spared me much more of this "Abnormal Atrocity" which should be the correct title of this stinker. Its score went from over 7 down to currently 4.7, and it's still way to high.

Lots of shill reviews from people involved in this - I'm sure they probably had fun doing it but certainly not fun to watch

Hard to believe it has a run time of 100 minutes

1. All the 9's and 10's reviews are made by people with only 1 (one) review ever, this one. (Family and friends much?) 2. The reviewers have User -Id's like; blabla-134543 and: whatever-2343 and such. 3. There are typically 29 reviews in total, and they are all nines and tens. 4. When you have a gut feeling that the movie is horrible, most of the time it is. 5. There are washed up "stars" in it, maybe one ore two. 6. If Ron Jeremy is in it: Avoid!

It is quite sad really, I used to rely on IMDB and its reviewers to at least give me a hint if I would give a movie a couple of hours of my life...Lesson learned.

All in all I'm sure the filmmakers and actors in this movie had fun making this, and I wish them all the luck in getting their money-investment back, because I really hope they didn't put their homes or cars as collateral to raise the 200$ it must have cost to make this movie.

Wrote this out of humanity for people wanting one hour and fortyseven minutes filled with joy other than that embarrassing feeling you'll get watching this.

No, Malcolm McDowell and Gilbert Gottfried can't save this sinking ship.
