Speaks Chinese Mandarin.

Named his black Labrador rescue Eli Van Gogh because part of his left ear had been cut off. Eli died of cancer in 2019. Adopted his second dog at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Studied theatre and British literature at The University of Westminster in London.

Explored careers in law and medicine prior to acting.

Started performing stand-up at the age of 16 unbeknownst to his parents.
