Dean Widders(II)
Dean Widders is a well-known figure in the National Rugby League (NRL), both for his playing career and his significant work off the field, particularly in Indigenous advocacy. Widders played as a professional rugby league footballer in the 2000s and early 2010s. He played for several NRL clubs including the Sydney Roosters (2000-2001), Parramatta Eels (2002-2006), and South Sydney Rabbitohs (2007-2008). He also had a stint in the Super League in England with the Castleford Tigers (2009-2011).
