Stacey Cochran made his feature film debut in 2022 as a collaborating screenwriter for the adaptation of his bestselling novel Eddie & Sunny, starring Gabriel Luna and Joanna Vanderham, and directed by Desmond Devenish. His directorial debut came with Summerhaven: the Series, a pilot episode for a streaming series that won the Best of Arizona Film category at the 2023 Arizona International Film Festival. In addition to directing, Cochran has co-produced and associate produced two award-winning short films between 2022 and 2023.
With over seven years of experience as a producer and director in television, and more than two decades in the publishing industry, Cochran is a versatile creator with multiple bestselling, award-winning novels and short stories to his credit. He is also a professor at the University of Arizona and holds a Ph.D., contributing to both the academic and creative fields with a diverse and accomplished career.
