The CW has renewed its drama series All American for an eighth, and final, season. The pickup will make the series one of the longer-running shows in the network’s history — and also close the door on The CW’s previous era in terms of scripted programming.

Season eight of All American will run for 13 episodes in the 2025-26 season. The series from Warner Bros. TV, Berlanti Productions and shworunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll will close its run with 132 episodes; its eight seasons will rank among the five longest-running scripted series in the network’s history (not counting seasons of Upn or The WB shows that aired prior to those networks merging to form The CW).

A popular sports drama on The CW returns to Netflix's Top 10 US streaming charts at the wait for season 8 of the long-running series continues. The streaming platform is home to a multitude of sports-related content, from Netflix original sports documentaries like football docuseries Last Chance U, to dramas like the wrestling series Glow. These original productions are just small parts of the larger ecosystem of Netflix, some of which also focuses on other shows and movies found in their sports category.

Another constant of the platform has been hosting content from other places, with one focus being primetime TV shows on various networks. The CW shows on Netflix, for example, has been a long-standing part of the streaming service, with everything from the Arrowverse shows, to The 100, to Supernatural having a home on the platform. Despite many of these series being over, this partnership between both networks has continued for quite some time.

Fans of NBC's mystery series "Found" are going to have to look elsewhere to get their dose of fictional missing persons cases now that the series has been canceled by the network after two seasons. As was reported by Deadline, the show will not be returning for a season 3, meaning the season 2 finale will serve as the series finale.

According to a separate report from Variety, Warner Bros. Television, which produces "Found," is going to see if it can find a new home for the show, be it a streaming service or another network. This sort of thing has happened plenty of times in the past, like when "Designated Survivor" went from ABC to Netflix or "Lucifer" moved from Fox to Netflix. The show has two episodes left, with no heads up from the network, the cancellation decision has caused some uproar. A full-throttle campaign has been launched by fans, cast members, and even industry players to see the show rescued by other platforms and given another lease of life.

The first season premiered in 2023 with a strong premiere that drew 10.5 million viewers across platforms. Found introduced audiences to Gabi (Shanola Hampton), a professional at Mosely and Associates, a firm dedicated to finding missing people especially the numerous number that fall through the cracks of the criminal justice system.

The crime-drama Found, which premiered on NBC in 2023, won’t be getting a third season on the network. Per Deadline, the series led by Shameless alum Shanola Hampton has been canceled. However, hope is not lost yet for fans of Found as the series may be shopped around by its lead studio, Warner Bros. Television.

Lauryn Hardy, Terayle Hill, and Sasha Lance are all set to recur in the upcoming 13-episode installment of the CW drama.

They will join previously announced incoming cast including Osy Ikhile, Nathaniel McIntyre and Elijah M. Cooper, as well as returning series regulars Michael Evans Behling, Greta Onieogou, and Bre-z. Antonio J. Bell and Alexis Chikaeze are also being upped to series regulars for Season 7.

Hardy will play Tori, the head cheerleader at Beverly High and a competitive athlete. She’s the first friend Kj (played by McIntyre) makes at Beverly and is never afraid to speak up for herself or fight for what she wants.

Throughout its run, All American has said goodbye to some wonderful characters, including Coach Montes (Kamar de los Reyes). The series premiered on October 10, 2018, and has been an integral part of the CW's lineup since, with All American season 7 set to be released in early 2025. Throughout its six-season run, the show saw many cast changes, with its most significant occurring when Spencer James actor Daniel Ezra left All American.

Another important character who had an early exit on the show was Coach Montes, who first appeared in All American season 4 as the head football coach of Coastal California College. Perhaps the biggest impact Coach Montes left on the series as a whole was his relationship with Asher Adams (Cody Christian), as he helped mentor Adams throughout their time on the screen together. Unfortunately, Coach Montes' time on All American was cut short by a personal tragedy that happened away from the series.

Found has been hitting new creative highs in its second season. While still trying to find missing people, the team is reeling from Gabi (Shanola Hampton) revealing she had kept Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) prisoner for months to use him for information to other abductors. Each member of the team is having trouble handling that, especially Laci (Gabrielle Walsh), when she realizes Sir abducted her as a “companion” for Gabi.

The team is doing their best, but complications include how their police detective ally, Mark (Brett Dalton), no longer trusts them and even wants to arrest Gabi for what she did. He was forced to cut Zeke (Arlen Escarpeta) off from his computers, his only connection to the world.

The midseason finale ended with Gabi heading to her old high school and a showdown with Sir.

Season 2 of Found has had the M&a team shaken by Gabi (Shanola Hampton) revealing that she held Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) hostage for so long and used him to gain information on criminals. Police ally Mark (Brett Dalton) wanted to arrest Gabi and only held off by the lack of serious evidence against her while Lacey (Gabrielle Walsh) was more upset than anyone.

It’s taken its toll on the team with Sir still out there and causing stress. That included Zeke (Arlen Escarpeta) upset when Mark took away all his computers, his only link to the outside world. A major moment was when Sir confronted Zeke at his home and in his anger, Zeke actually stepped outside without realizing it.
