President Donald Trump has pledged to deport all the illegal immigrants residing in the country and lock down the U.S.-Mexico border. The White House even set a goal for Ice to arrest at least 3,000 migrants per day. However, in their attempt to sweep out the illegal immigrants, several citizens who have been legally residing in the country with permanent residence got caught up in the chaos.
This whole situation sparked protests on the streets of Los Angeles, leading Donald Trump to deploy 2000 National Guard members, and 700 Marines to help respond to the protests. Meanwhile, several celebrities, including the Florida rapper Doechii, and actresses like Jessica Alba and Eva Longoria, went public, in support of protesters.

Oscar-winning composer and award-winning songwriter Finneas is no stranger to writing music for film. The composer and songwriter won Oscars — with his superstar sister Billie Eilish — for “No Time to Die” from the James Bond film of the same name, and “What Was I Made For?” from “Barbie” in 2024. He has won Grammys and has a solo career as well as multiplatinum music with Eilish. He is a songwriter of all trades, but when it came to writing music for AppleTV+’s limited series “Disclaimer,” the series creator and director Alfonso Cuarón wanted something different from him.
Despite Finneas’ extensive resume, he had never scored TV, but Cuarón was a fan. Although the musician was on board during filming, it wasn’t until post-production that the work really began. “He sent me a bunch of music that he loved as references, and it was mostly string quartets,” Finneas says. “I was immediately like,...

Kate Hudson is the star in the music video for Finneas’s “2001,” which the superproducer released on Wednesday.
The music video sees the Finneas play an actor pining for Hudson’s love and attention as he stars in her intergalactic film. Throughout the clips, Finneas sings the lyrics to the track while chasing after Hudson, who doesn’t pay him much mind.
“Honey, what you runnin’ from? / When you comin’ back to bed? / Toss and turn it all night long with me instead / Honey, what you runnin’ from? / Where the hell you headed to? / Do you like the way I run after you?” he sings throughout the song.
While Hudson starred in the music video as a director, “2001” was actually helmed by Finneas’ girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski, who was inspired by the 1968 film of the same name, 2001: A Space Odyssey.

A Billie Eilish cover of “Creep” by Radiohead felt long overdue. Over the weekend, while performing on her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour in Amsterdam, the pop star made way for a haunting rendition of the song.
In fan-recorded clips of the performance, Eilish could be seen sitting on a stool, accompanied by a guitarist singing the lyrics to the Radiohead classic, adding her own flair to the song. “But I’m a creep/I’m a weirdo,” she sang. “What the hell am I doin’ here?/I don’t belong here.

Environmental activist and Support+Feed founder Maggie Baird has been working toward a more sustainable future at every stage of her life. At no point in her journey did it become more evident that work needed to be done than when her children — Grammy winners Billie Eilish and Finneas — entered the music industry.
“At the time it seemed like no one was talking about it,” Baird tells The Hollywood Reporter over Zoom, recalling when Eilish first broke through as a touring superstar in the late 2010s. “Oh, the waste, the plastic water bottles, the gift boxes, the packaging, the merch, just everything was overwhelming. On the road it’s exhausting, and so convenience becomes the name of the game. It was like, ‘Wait, we’ve created a world.’ We are vegan, we are living very sustainably with all our choices, and now we’ve stepped into a world.”

Hans Zimmer is one of the most legendary composers in film history, but there's one genre of film he'd rather not compose music for at all. The German composer is decidedly not a fan of musicals, despite having composed the score for one of Disney's most successful musicals of all time. He spoke about being a musical hater with Collider's Steve Weintraub at a Q&a for his new concert film, Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert.
Zimmer discussed scoring The Lion King, which was later turned into an enormously successful stage musical:
I said to them, “I hate musicals.” They said, “We guarantee you it'll never be a musical.” But we had all these pieces left over and we went back to Africa and recorded the second album, Rhythm of the Pride Lands, which were the leftover bits, and we got into big trouble because we...

Along with the arrival of their new joint album, I Said I Love You First, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have dropped a new music video for their song, “Younger and Hotter Than Me.”
The solemn, atmospheric ballad finds Gomez grappling with the anxieties of aging, especially as a former partner moves on: “We’re not getting any younger/But your girlfriends seem to,” she sings at one point. While the lyrics contend with this idea in terms of romantic relationships, the music video, directed by Jake Schreier, appears to...

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have released their new album, I Said I Love You First.
The 15-track album — released through Smg Music, Friends Keep Secrets and Interscope Records — is the couple’s first collaborative album. It chronicles and celebrates their love story, coming together “organically as a direct result of the comfort that they both felt when working together creatively,” according to a release. The couple announced their engagement late last year.
I Said I Love You First includes the latest music video from the pair, “Younger and Hotter Than Me.” The cinematic and melancholy video follows Gomez around a studio lot, seemingly reflecting on her life of young stardom. The video often finds Gomez returning to an abandoned set on a soundstage.

Did Rachel Zegler spark an unexpected controversy? ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Rachel Zegler is once again on the news after getting embroiled in controversy for portraying Snow White’s character in her upcoming movie, despite being an Latinx background. But this time for an internet interaction with Timothee Chalamet. Her comment on the Dune actor’s, sparked mixed reactions online as he is currently dating Kylie Jenner, and we all know that.
For those who don’t know, Zegler, after got slammed for the leading actress in Snow White, recently faced another wave of heat for singing in the film. One of the internet users mocked for not being Soprano. She is someone who never takes any internet backlash lightly. She clapped back at the comment and wrote that she’s also a soprano and if the person doesn’t know that, then requested to watch West Side Story on Disney+.

Hans Zimmer should be a noun-turned-verb, like Google, or at the very least a proper noun like Kleenex that now just means all tissues, name brand or not. When we’re talking about composing timeless scores (now known for the purposes of this review as Zimms), there are few who rival the scope and power of his work. On March 19 in select theaters, audiences will be treated to one of those rare experiences that truly exemplifies how much this music has meant to entertainment as a whole in Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert. Chances are, you live with these musical notes pumping through your veins, and it could be so second nature you don’t even realize that with every squeeze of your heart, you’re shuttling themes from Pirates of the Caribbean from your aorta to your extremities, or receiving oxygen from notes of Gladiator backinto your right atrium.
