James Houghton(1948-2024)

He was pictured on the cover of the 1982 Warren Zevon album, "The Envoy", along with Ted Shackelford, with whom he co-starred on the show, Knots Landing (1979). Zevon was the boyfriend of Kim Lankford, who co-starred on "Knots Landing", with Houghton and Shackelford. However, Zevon and Lankford never married.

If someone tells me I'm cute, I tell them to tell my parents. It's their doing, not mine. If I took the credit it would be the height of conceit. There are a lot of those kind of people walking around, thinking the world owes them a living. I try not to think about my looks.
