Ferris Webster(1912-1989)

American editor, noted for his work with John Frankenheimer and John Sturges on many outstanding action films of the 1960's. He was long employed at MGM (1939-59) and had perhaps his most fruitful spell towards the latter part of his career at United Artists (1960-65).
