Berlin ER drops us in the middle of a busy and underfunded hospital in Berlin, Germany. Dr. Parker is coming from a life in Munich, which she is desperate to run away from and put behind her. That past is going to catch up to her, but not before she puts her focus on turning things around in an ER that sees the boss quit every few weeks, if they’re lucky to make it that far!

Dr. Weber is one of the ER docs, who is shocked to find out that Parker isn’t just another staff member, but his new boss. He certainly makes a great first impression, as he shows everything...

Skipper Johnston (Ben Weber) is a website developer introduced in Sex and the City as Carrie’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) friend, and a hopeless romantic. Sure, he falls into the “nice guy” trope, bemoaning how hard it is for guys like him to be taken seriously in the New York dating world, but compared to every other guy introduced in the series’ pilot, he seems genuine, and deserved a better friend than Carrie.

Carrie didn’t have to set him up with Miranda (Cynthia Nixon). In fact, it probably would have been better for everyone if she didn’t. As soon as she offers to introduce them in the first episode of the series, she says in her signature voiceover “Miranda was gonna hate Skipper. She’d think he was mocking her with his sweet nature and decide he was an asshole.

Before Steve Brady (David Eigenberg) and Che Diaz (Sara Ramírez) came along on Sex and the City, there was Skipper Johnston (Ben Weber). He was one of Miranda’s (Cynthia Nixon) love interests in the first season of Sex and the City and a self-proclaimed “hopeless romantic.” Skipper and Miranda’s romantic relationship was very brief. Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed yesterday that her iconic onscreen counterpart Carrie Bradshaw would reunite with BFFs Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) for an HBO Max limited series titled “And Just Like That…” (Kim Cattrall’s Samantha Jones will not be involved). The “new chapter” will follow the three New Yorkers, now in their 50s, as they continue navigating the ups and downs of relationships, friendships, careers and, of course, sex.

“Sex and the City” went off the air in 2002 after six seasons, but Carrie and company’s story continued with two (very divisive) feature films that premiered in 2008 and 2010. That means it’s been over a decade since fans last saw Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte — so there will be lots to catch up on when “And Just Like That…” graces our TV screens later this year.

I had never heard of this comedy-thriller, and the good news is that it’s a pleasant surprise, thoroughly enjoyable. The toughest kind of filmmaking must be making comedy seem effortless, and that’s what Eric Blakeney does in this quirky, near-screwball take on the done-to-death drug deal undercover thriller. Liam Neeson is sensational, and producer Sandra Bullock is at her most charming. Even the flatulence jokes are funny.

In paying tribute to the 20th anniversary of the groundbreaking HBO comedy “Sex and the City,” it seemed like a natural fit to examine the boyfriends, husbands, and other partners on the show. While the series stands out as a tribute to female friendship, the love stories scattered across six seasons often offered a great deal of insight into Carrie, Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte as well.

For the record, we’re not considering the two films in this ranking, because…. well, they’re bad. More importantly, what they add to the narrative doesn’t really have the same impact as watching these characters develop over the course of seasons; the films made an effort to cram a season’s worth of story into two hours.

The Damages alum is set to play Penthouse founder Bob Guccione Sr. in Discovery Channel’s forthcoming ‘Unabomber’ series Manifesto, TVLine has learned exclusively. Guccione famously offered to publish the manifesto written by Ted “Unabomber” Kaczynski (played by Paul Bettany).

Additionally, Ben Weber (Secret Life of the American Teenager) has joined the cast of the Greg Yaitanes-helmed project as Andy Genelli, the former head of the Unabomomber Task Force.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager will premiere its second season on the ABC Family network on Monday, June 22 at 8 Pm Et and one of the big reasons the show is getting a second season is the invovlement of Molly Ringwald on the show. Ringwald held a conference call to discuss the new season and here's what she had to say.

What do you think it is about the show that makes it so popular, and did that popularity surprise you at all?

Molly Ringwald: Well, it's always surprising when something turns out to be such a big hit like this. I mean you do all these projects and you hope for the best. You really never know what's going to strike a chord. I just think that people just really like the characters.
