Traveled to Italy in February 1992 with the Elizabeth Dancers to compete in a Carnaval Showfestival and was elected Miss Carnaval.

On August 8, 2020, she gave birth to a daughter name Coco Loulou van Noortwijk. Child's father is her ex-husband Freek van Noortwijk.

Is of Surinamese, Antillean and (on her grandmother's side) Chinese descent.

Married Thijs Römer at the Château de Condé in the French town of Vallery. She wore a white sleeveless dress, designed by Percy Irausquin, with lots of little crystals on the bodice.
