Created by Andrew Barth Feldman, Alex Boniello, and Matthew Barth Tinkelman, this five-part series follows a different whodunit murder mystery in each episode. Foul Play takes this storytelling style across multiple genres, including high fantasy, noir, and reality television, with the viewer taking on the role of detective, moving from room to room following the characters they think are suspicious and searching for clues.

Foul Play is a loosely improvised comedy murder mystery series with an incredible cast, including Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things), Michael Urie (Shrinking), Ryan Haddad (The Politician), Erica Hernandez (True Lies), Will Roland (Billions), Celia Rose Gooding (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds), and Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice). Star Wars Fans React to Andor Finale
Image
This Star Wars: Andor article contains spoilers.

Twelve episodes later, Cassian is at a crossroads on Andor. After murdering two Pre-Mor officers and fleeing capture on Ferrix, things haven’t gotten any easier for our protagonist. Although he hoped to enjoy an extended vacation on the party planet of Niamos after pulling off the heist on Aldhani, he soon witnesses firsthand the terrible atrocities being committed by the Empire under the galaxy’s very nose in the prison on Narkina 5. It’s no surprise that in the season finale, Cassian decides that simply running and surviving is no longer enough. It’s time to take the fight to the Empire.

Star Wars fans waited 10 long weeks for that final scene between Rebel leader Luthen Rael and Cassian, who finally accepted his destiny as the freedom fighter we already know he’ll become. We’re four in-universe years away from Cassian...

Netflix Announces Geeked Week Hosts Ella Purnell, Jacob Bertrand and More; Premieres Trailer
David Harbour
Netflix’s Geeked Week — a five-day virtual fan event which began last year to premiere exclusive news from the streamer — released a trailer for its upcoming content and announced a new set of hosts for this year’s festivities, taking place June 6-10.

The trailer, narrated by David Harbour of “Stranger Things,” promises new footage and information about titles like “The Sandman,” based on the 1990s DC Comics of the same name and starring Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie and Kirby Howell-Baptiste. The streamer also teased updates on the highly anticipated third season of “The Umbrella Academy,” action-thriller “The Gray Man,” which features Regé-Jean Page, Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, and — of course — “Stranger Things.”

“It’s time to admit that geeks are f—ing great,” Harbour says in the clip. “We are the hyper-passionate, the super-curious, the ones willing to dive into the unknown — or get scared sh–less by it,...

Star Trek Fans Are Celebrating First Contact Day On Social Media
Bette Davis in La Star (1952)
Its April 5th, and you know what that means, Star Trek fans… it’s First Contact Day! In Trek lore, this date in 2063 marks the first time that humanity reached out to the other races of the galaxy and they reached back. Pioneer Zephram Cochrane invented the warp drive and piloted his experimental craft into the stars, something which attracted the attention of a passing Vulcan vessel, who came to meet him on Earth. The subsequent handshake between Cochrane and his alien acquaintance was a monumental event in human history.

In honor of the occasion, Star Trek lovers have been pouring onto social media to commemorate the big day. Including a bit of cosplay to brighten up the quarantine.
