Savannah Chrisley made a blunt confession about Donald Trump pardoning her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, during an interview with Lara Trump on Fox News‘ My View With Lara Trump. On Saturday, June 28, the network aired Lara’s sit-down with Savannah, 27, her brother, Grayson Chrisley, 19, and their parents one month after Julie, 52, and Todd, 56, were released from prison. In June 2022, the Chrisley Knows Best couple were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion. They spent over two years behind bars, although Todd was originally sentenced to 12 years and Julie to seven years. Savannah’s relentless advocating for her parents resulted in Trump pardoning them on May 27; they were released from prison on May 28. During the Chrisleys’ chat with Lara, Savannah made a bold admission about Trump’s 2024 presidential election win allowing her parents to be home today. “On a personal level, we watched the election together, and [my brother Grayson] got to...

Savannah Chrisley says Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential election win was her parent’s “only way out” of prison.
The well-known reality TV family sat down for their first TV interview since their release from prison on Fox News’ My View with Lara Trump Saturday night. There, Todd, Julie, Savannah and Grayson Chrisley discussed their release from prison that was ignited by Trump’s pardon.
During their conversation, Savannah, an avid advocate for her parent’s release since they went away in 2023, said they were at an “all-time low” before they got the call that Todd and Julie were being pardoned. She recalled getting into a fight with Grayson, her younger brother whom she gained custody of when her parents went to prison, the day that they got the life-changing news.
“Just going through this together has been such a whirldwind, and the that day they got pardoned, he and I were fighting.

The Chrisley family celebrated a legal and personal victory on May 27, 2025, when they were informed that President Donald Trump would pardon Julie and Todd Chrisley. The couple were serving time for bank fraud and tax evasion but have since been released from their respective prisons and are back home, adapting to their new normal.
There are already some changes that the former reality TV stars have made since returning home, and their son, Chase Chrisley, discussed one thing in particular: what he knew his mom would change about her appearance after her release from prison.

Todd and Julie Chrisley‘s post-prison reunion was an emotional one. The couple opened up about speaking to each other for the first time in “28 months” in their sit-down interview with Lara Trump on Fox News’ My View with Lara Trump, which will air on Saturday, June 28, at 9/8c. Julie described seeing Todd for the first time since they started their prison sentences as “surreal” but noted that the interaction was anything but “awkward.” Todd agreed, stating that his wife was “in my spirit the entire time.” Todd continued to gush about his wife, saying it felt like “home” when he hugged her and that she was the “same woman” she had been the last time he saw her. However, Todd stated that he and Julie have both been “changed” by their time behind bars and are glad that they did. Otherwise, their experiences would have been “wasted.” The couple was joined by their kids,...

The Chrisleys will share their side of the story in an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Lara Trump on Saturday, June 28, during My View with Lara Trump at 9/8c. The appearance marks the first televised interview for the Chrisley Knows Best stars since Julie and Todd Chrisley‘s pardons and release from prison, and it’ll feature both of the former prisoners and their daughter Savannah Chrisley, who received the call with news of the presidential pardon straight from the Oval Office. The reality star and his wife were originally sentenced in January 2023 for tax evasion and bank fraud after they were convicted of conspiring to defraud banks in the Atlanta area out of more than $30 million in loans by submitting false documents. The duo was initially found guilty and sentenced to a combined 19 years. The couple were released from prison on May 28 after being pardoned by Donald Trump. As a result,...

When Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to prison in 2022, many were afraid that everyone had heard enough of the Chrisleys. But it looks like the Chrisleys do know best, as Lifetime had recently announced that they would be all set to make another reality show about the family.
The latest show was all set to focus on the new generation of the household. But President Trump had other plans, as his decision to pardon Papa and Mama Chrisley has left the family in a joyous situation (and Lifetime scrambling for cameras).

On May 27, 2025, President Donald Trump, with a stroke of his pen, rewrote the narrative for Todd and Julie Chrisley, reality TV’s golden couple from Chrisley Knows Best. The pair, convicted in 2022 of bank fraud and tax evasion, had been handed prison sentences of 12 and 7 years, respectively.
Yet, we learned from People that Trump granted them full pardons, declaring they’d been dealt “pretty harsh treatment”. For some, the news arrived like a lightning bolt: sudden, shocking, and charged with emotion. For others, it ignited a long-simmering debate over justice, privilege, politics, and the ever-thinning boundary between fame and fairness.
As Savannah Chrisley, their daughter, prepares to welcome her parents home, we can’t help but feel a pang of hope laced with unease. Is this a triumph of fairness or a flex of political might? Let’s unravel the layers.

Savannah Chrisley continues to campaign for the release of her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, whom she says were “unfairly targeted” due to their celebrity status and sent to prison by Democrats. Todd and Julie were convicted of bank and tax fraud in 2022 and sentenced to a combined 19 years in federal prison. Both appealed their sentences; Todd’s request was denied, while Julie was granted a resentencing hearing. However, in September 2024, the judge upheld Julie’s original 84-month sentence at Fmc Lexington. Appearing on My View with Lara Trump on Fox News on Saturday (May 17), Savannah was asked by Trump, “All of this feels to you like it was targeted, yes, and it was targeted because your family was successful, because your family was on television, and you became a bit of a mark in some ways?” The Chrisley Knows Best star agreed, saying of her mom and dad, “They...

It’s no secret that Donald Trump watches Fox News. It’s also no secret that the president likes people who do well on TV — whether that means they aggressively defend him or just look look like they came from, as he says, “central casting.”
Trump’s TV Cabinet, as the Columbia Journalism Review calls it, consists of such familiar faces to Fox News viewers as Tulsi Gabbard, Pete Hegseth, Sean Duffy and many more.
What Media Matters calls the “revolving door” between the network and the Trump White House goes both ways, with the president’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump recently landing her own show on the network. Conversely, White House staffers, such as Sarah Huckabee Sanders, have become affiliated with Fox News after leaving public service.

Elon Musk, the head of Donald Trump’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency, said “it’s an outrageous thing to claim that I’m a Nazi” in a clip from an interview with Fox News that was released Friday, slamming how he’s been covered by the media. He also said that if his detractors could “press a button” and kill him, they would, but he is “difficult to kill.”
At Trump’s post-inauguration rally, Musk gave a straight-arm salute that many, including his estranged daughter, interpreted to be a Sieg Heil.

Lara Trump may be part of the most powerful political family in the United States, but the president’s daughter-in-law and former Republican National Committee chair has ambitions elsewhere: music stardom. On Friday, she released her latest single, a masterclass in insipid vocal fry pop slop titled “No Days Off.”
Performed alongside Moroccan-American rapper French Montana, the track follows the standard template pioneered by reality TV stars looking to make a quick buck off a few hours in the recording studio: a generic dance beat and “can’t stop, won’t stop,...

Lara Trump, daughter-in-law to President Donald Trump, will host a new Saturday-night show on Fox News Channel, putting the outlet in the unusual position of backing a primetime opinion host with direct connections to a sitting Commander-in-Chief on its schedule.
Trump will anchor “My View,” which Fox News said would “focus on the return of common sense to all corners of American life as the country ushers in a new era of practicality.” The show is expected to feature both analysis and “interviews with thought leaders, shedding light on the headlines driving the national conversation and affecting families around the country.” The show will air at 9 p.m. on Saturdays. MSNBC offers a program with similar concepts, “Inside With Jen Psaki,” the former White House Press Secretary for President Joe Biden, which runs Sundays and Mondays.

Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of President-elect Donald Trump, has called on women to trust his leadership, emphasizing his support for women in his inner circle.
Speaking to The New York Post, she highlighted Trump’s record of empowering female leaders, including Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, who he nominated to lead the Homeland Security Department. Lara said she appreciates his focus on ability over identity, stating, “I never want someone to give me a job because of my gender.”
Lara expressed confidence that the U.S. will see a female president in her lifetime but believes gender should not be the deciding factor. “Hillary Clinton tried to tell everyone to vote for her because she was a woman,” Lara said, adding that qualifications and leadership matter more. She also speculated that the first female president would likely be a Republican.

The Southern Bridge that connects the nether end of tony Palm Beach Island to the mainland city of West Palm Beach was once a calm overpass where people strolled alongside Bentleys over the Intracoastal Waterway. But since Donald Trump’s victory in November’s presidential election, news crews have amassed on the West Palm side, while tourists are huddled on a small island adjacent to the bridge, iPhone cameras fully zoomed in and aimed at Mar-a-Lago, which sits just yards away.

It hasn't been easy for Jimmy Kimmel to find much good news during the past few months. But reports of a falling out between Donald Trump and Elon Musk appeared to brighten the late-night TV host's spirits.
Kimmel's disdain for Donald Trump has been obvious for a decade at this point. The comedian's emotional reaction to Trump's victory in the 2024 election suggested Kimmel wasn't going to have an easy time adjusting to what's ahead.
The 2024 election also put more of a spotlight on Elon Musk. He cozied up to Trump and became a fixture not only in Mar-a-Lago, but in Kimmel's monologues. It led to another public feud for Kimmel and a bigger target for his punchlines.
Now, things between Trump and Musk are reportedly on the rocks. Kimmel gladly covered the story which indicates Trump is annoyed with Musk's constant presence at Mar-a-Lago.

Pete Hegseth is attempting to defend himself against a slew of misconduct allegations that threaten his nomination as Donald Trump’s Secretary of Defense — with some help from his mom.
Penelope Hegseth appeared on Fox & Friends on Wednesday to defend her son’s nomination and counteract the damage done by the public release of a 2018 email in which she called him an “abuser of women,” and decried his treatment of his second wife during their divorce.
Pete Hegseth was a Fox News host for years before Trump nominated him to lead the Pentagon.

A viral meme from earlier this year showing before and after shots of several women in Donald Trump’s immediate orbit — RNC chair Lara Trump, Don Jr. squeeze Kimberly Guilfoyle, conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer and South Dakota governor and confessed dog killer Kristi Noem — pointed to an undeniable trend. Their faces had all, over an unspecified period, morphed from conventionally human to makeup-caked, angular cheekboned, full-lipped, Fellini-esque exaggerations of the dolled-up Fox News anchorwoman look. And it’s not just the women: Few of us can remember the content of former Florida Rep. (and former prospective attorney general) Matt Gaetz’s RNC speech last summer, so fixated were we on the new elfin arc of his eyebrows. (And the less said about George Santos and his Botox habit, the better.)

President Elect Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump is saying some amazing things about Donald’s only child with Melania Trump. Lara thinks that 18-year old Barron has been instrumental in his father’s reelection and she’s not alone. Here’s what you need to know about Barron’s influence on his father.
Barron Trump Is Influential
Lara is married to Donald’s youngest son with his first wife, the late Ivana Trump. She talked to Patrick Bet-David on his podcast and said “Barron Trump is so cool. He’s like the sleeper. He’s kind of stayed out of the spotlight intentionally.”
Barron’s hiddenness may also be partly due to Melania’s influence. He was set to be a delegate at the RNC convention in July, but his mother quickly shot down that happening, saying the teen would not help to nominate Donald.

There likely won’t be a winner declared when the polls close Tuesday night. But even before the results are final, there are some clear winners and losers in this year’s topsy-turvy race for the White House between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

“I Hate Taylor Swift!” Donald Trump wrote on social media last month after the 14-time Grammy-winning pop star endorsed Kamala Harris.
Odd, then, that this week he’s using one of Swift’s songs in a campaign video aimed at appealing to women.
A clip, captioned “Women for Trump,” was recently posted to the GOP candidate’s official Team Trump Instagram account. It features Lara Trump and a bevy of pink-clad, Maga-supporting women — including Savannah Chrisley and Sage Steele — singing along to lines from Swift’s 2013 tune “22” before the soundtrack abruptly skips to Trump acolyte Forgiato Blow’s “Trump Trump Baby.”
It’s a bizarre mashup, especially given the candidate’s oft-professed dislike for the Tortured Poets Department singer-songwriter.

The Republican Party, conservative politicians, and right-wing groups allied with Donald Trump are using exceedingly rare instances of voting by undocumented immigrants as pretext to try to purge more than one million voters from the rolls in battleground states, just weeks before the election — in open defiance of federal voting laws.
These efforts to disenfranchise voters are unlikely to succeed — and one such case has already been tossed out of court. If the cases continue to fail, as expected, and Trump loses the November election, the former president and his...

Taylor Swift added an exclamation point to the debate when she endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris. On Wednesday night, Jimmy Kimmel explained why the move has become especially embarrassing for Donald Trump.
Swift posted to Instagram following the debate between Harris and Trump, making it clear she's voting for the vice president. The pop star also made reference to Team Trump using AI-generated images to suggest Swift supported the former president.
So for Swift to essentially break the internet in support of Kamala Harris was salt in the wound for Donald Trump. Commentators, the public, and politicians were already crushing him for his poor debate performance.
Jimmy Kimmel's monologue on Wednesday further explained how embarrassing things got for Donald Trump. And it all started with his running mate.
