Nida Chowdhry is a writer, director, and actress whose work spans live action and animation. She wrote, directed and starred in her debut feature film, Anxious. (2024), an Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) inspired surreal dramedy which premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre as part of the Dances With Films Festival. For her performance in the film, she won Best Actress at the Micheaux Film Festival.
She first gained recognition as the creator of the viral indie television series Unfair & Ugly (2018), a cultural comedy exploring race and identity in Southern California.
Chowdhry is also a staff writer on the Netflix top-rated preschool animated series Cocomelon Lane (2023) and the upcoming season of the Disney animated series Robogobo (2025).
