James Hamilton is a multi award winning British screenwriter, now living in Los Angeles. He is the head writer of Netflix's YA animated series Jentry Chau Vs The Underworld, starring and executive produced by Ali Wong. Before that, he co-developed and was head writer of Netflix's animated sci-fi comedy series Dogs in Space.
James created, wrote and executive produced indie series Murder for Dummies, a six episode horror-comedy murder mystery, with his acclaimed British comedy team Casual Violence. The series was made available to stream freely on YouTube.
James's additional writing credits include more than fifty episodes of The Amazing World of Gumball (an episode he co-wrote, The Copycats, was the winner of two British Animation Awards), as well as episodes of Unikitty, Bravest Warriors, Space Chickens In Space, Incredible Ant, the Oddbods Show, and Love Monster.
