Sarah Sawyer began her training in acting, dance, and voice at a young age. She is half Swedish. She grew up studying at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting (NYC) and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NYC). She also trained under RADA instructors at the London Dramatic Academy and received her BA in Theatre Arts and screenwriting from Loyola Marymount University. Sarah is known for her role as Ansel Elgort's sister, 'Jessica Adelstein,' on MAX's TOKYO VICE. Many short films Sarah has starred in have screened at prestigious film festivals, including Oscar-qualifying festival, Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Short Fest, Prague International Indie Film Festival, and OutFest.
As a filmmaker, Sarah has written, produced, and directed short films and a web-series. In 2022, she was hired by a Golden Globe-winning production company to pen the first draft of a crime-drama feature, based on a true story.
She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
