Ron DeSantis Sees Wife Being Labeled ‘America’s Karen’ as ‘a Badge of Honor’ (Video)
Ron DeSantis
In response to an MSNBC panelist that labeled Ron DeSantis’ wife, Casey, as “America’s Karen,” the Florida Governor told Fox News that they just “shrug it off.”

“My wife is an incredibly strong first lady of Florida, a fantastic mother, and a great wife, and that threatens the left,” DeSantis said on Monday’s “Varney & Co.” in defense of his wife.

He continued, “We know it just shows they view her as a threat.”

Former Congressman Trey Gowdy Joins Fox News as Ranks of Cable-News Contributors Swell
Former Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy has joined Fox News Channel as a contributor, the latest recently-departed politician to take to the TV-news ranks as the networks seek out fresh faces to keep viewers intrigued by their broadcasts.

Gowdy, who represented South Carolina starting in 2010, announced in 2018 he would not seek re-election after four terms in Congress. He served as Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and was a member of the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees. During his time in Congress, Rep. Gowdy, a former federal prosecutor, played a significant role in the congressional investigation of then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the terrorist attacks in Benghazi.

He is the latest lawmaker to join a news operation in a similar capacity. CNN recently signed former Ohio Governor John Kasich as a contributor, along with former Utah Congresswoman Mia Love. MSNBC. Former Senator Claire McCaskill earlier this...

Bill Maher (Eventually) Apologizes For Use of Racial Slur on HBO’s ‘Real Time’ — Watch
Bill Maher
With his reputation — and potentially his job — in the balance, tonight Bill Maher initially ducked around the expected apology for using a racial slur on last week’s episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher.”

Barely addressing the controversy in his traditional opening monologue, Maher faced the studio audience and HBO viewers by saying, “Thank you for letting a sinner in your midst” before turning the conversation to “someone worse than me — Donald Trump.”

The comedian then proceeded to go hard on Trump in the aftermath of Thursday’s Comey hearings in his opening remarks. “Is he too stupid to be President?” Maher asked his audience.

However, this was followed by a sit-down interview with author Michael Eric Dyson, in which Maher immediately made this request: “I want you to school me — I did a bad thing.

Bill Maher’s New Friday Lineup Announced After Sen. Al Franken Bows Out Over Racial Slur
Academic Michael Eric Dyson is Bill Maher’s top-of-show interview guest for Friday’s Real Time, after Sen. Al Franken bowed out, citing Maher’s use of a racial slur on last Friday’s program.
