James Pickering(IV)

Born in Yorkshire, England, Pickering was raised on a diet of Genre Cinema. As he was allowed to stay up and watch movies with his parents, by the time he'd reached double digits he'd seen a large chunk of 80's action cinema, could pick Michael or Jason out of a line-up, and was a huge fan of British and American comedy. When he was ten years old Pickering wrote a screenplay for an episode of The X-Files, which he turned into a School Production. To this day he maintains it's the best thing he's ever written. In 2020 his debut feature film All Joking Aside made its World Premiere at the Cinequest International Film Festival, where it won the New Visions Award.
