Mateo likes to mix orchestral and acoustic textures with intimate and endearing sounds; part of his expression is born from the narrative search that unites the musical side with the cinematographic language, thus creating an atmosphere and a world in which both parts complement each other.
He has composed and produced for film, theater and TV in Mexico, USA, Canada and Europe, collaborating with artists such as Finneas O'Connell, Camilo Lara, Dan Zlotnik and Felipe Pérez Santiago. He holds a degree in Music Composition from the London College of Music, and in 2021 he was awarded the National Young Creators Scholarship in México.
