Denise Richards is stirring up some new reality TV drama next month.

The docuseries Denise Richards and Her Wild Things, following the actress and her family, will premiere with two back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, March 4 on Bravo. The show will continue with double installments and move to its regular timeslot of 9/8c on Tuesday, March 11. Beginning Tuesday, March 18, one half-hour episode will air weekly.

Variety has learned that Omari Hardwick and Dana Gourrier have joined “The Greatest,” which is the first authorized scripted series about Ali’s life. The pair will appear alongside previously announced series lead Jaalen Best.

Like Qasim Basir’s last feature, “A Boy. A Girl. A Dream,” his new “To Live & Die and Live” is a questing mood piece whose characters roam a city’s highlife in a fruitless search for inner peace. Here the setting is Detroit, but the protagonist a successful filmmaker taking a forced yet needed sabbatical from the pressures of that prior film’s Los Angeles. The issues he’s dragged with him are hardly alleviated by this return to home turf, however.

As before, the writer-director’s elliptical narrative approach leaves a lot of unanswered questions. But the frustration they generate is again outweighed by the insight afforded into upwardly mobile (and in this case Muslim) African American communities, as well as the melancholy poetical drift of his cinematic style.

Hulu dropped the first exclusive trailer for the upcoming biographical drama 'The United States vs Billie Holiday' featuring R&b singer Andra Day in the titular role.

MGM is re-launching Orion Classics and has named Mike P. Nelson’s thriller The Domestics starring Kate Bosworth and Tyler Hoechlin (Everybody Wants Some!!) as its first release as the studio says it will focus on multiplatform and specialized releases and acquisitions. The label that is rising from the ashes will release eight to 10 films per year across genres, with The Domestics hitting theaters June 28 and then going to VOD and digital the following day.

The move follows last year’s resurrection of the Orion label and naming of John Hegeman as its president. Orion Classics will be run day to day by Sam Wollman, MGM’s Svp Acquisitions; he will work in conjunction with Hegeman and MGM President of Worldwide Television and Acquisitions Chris Ottinger. Orion Pictures’ first film, Every Day, was released into theaters in February and grossed $6.1M.

While Warner Bros. is expected to dominate the box office with their superhero adventure Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opening on March 25, they also have another movie debuting one week earlier, the sci-fi thriller Midnight Special. Warner Bros. released a new trailer today, which showcases the ensemble cast including Michael Shannon, Kirsten Dunst, Joel Edgerton, Adam Driver and Sam Shepard. Midnight Special is the latest from writer-director Jeff Nichols, who earned critical acclaim for his films Take Shelter and Mud.

Midnight Special is a provocative, genre-defying film as supernatural as it is intimately human, following a father, Roy (Michael Shannon), who goes on the run to protect his young son, Alton (Jaeden Lieberher), a boy with mysterious powers that even Roy himself cannot comprehend. What starts as a race from religious extremists and local law enforcement quickly escalates to a nationwide manhunt involving the highest levels of the Federal Government.

As promised, I’m back writing again about filmmaker Quentin Tarantino’s eighth cinematic outing this week. Whenever a new movie of his opens, it’s really an event, so this is no exception. Of late, Tarantino has been getting the attention of the Academy, so this is definitely a high profile release. There are many, many things to like about Quentin Tarantino’s new film The Hateful Eight. A great deal of them are being talked about all throughout the industry by various writers, but one aspect of Tarantino’s eighth outing is being woefully neglected. What is that? Well, the supporting turn by Bruce Dern, of course. Is it the flashiest in the movie? No, but that’s not the point. Dern is one of the great character actors of the last half century, and seeing him really get to dive into a role like this and work with Tarantino is something special. I am going to leap right into the meat of it here and say that The Runner is not a happy film. If you’re one of those people who like a happy ending and for everything to be wrapped up at least a little bit by the end, you definitely shouldn’t go for this film. Over the weekend, a special screening of The Hateful Eight was held at the Director's Guild of America in Los Angeles, which was followed by a Q&A with several of the cast members. Today we not only have the full 30-minute Q&A session, but The Weinstein Company has also provided us with a new Ensemble featurette from director Quentin Tarantino's Western. Ironically, Quentin Tarantino himself isn't present at the DGA Q&A, but cast members Samuel L. On Christmas Day, director Quentin Tarantino will roll out his eighth feature film, The Hateful Eight, in a limited "roadshow" presentation in 70mm. Fans will have two weeks to see this revenge Western in 70mm, before it debuts nationwide with digital projection on January 8. Fandango has released a seven-minute featurette that explains the importance of this 70mm presentation, and offers some history on the roadshow format, which hasn't been used for years.

One advantage of seeing the 70 mm roadshow is fans will get a longer cut of the movie than they'd see in the nationwide release. Quentin Tarantino revealed last month that the 70mm version will include six minutes of extra footage, a trademark of classic roadshow presentations such as Gone With the Wind, Ben-Hur and many more. We also hear from Samuel L. Jackson, who explains that the 70mm presentation gives viewers an image that is twice as large as a traditional movie.

Many movie fans are looking forward to December because of Star Wars: The Force Awakens hitting theaters. There is another cross-section of fandom that is awaiting the holiday season for another reason, the release of Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight. Earlier today, a new poster was released from this revenge Western, and now we have even more details about the film's soundtrack. Film Music Reporter is reporting that Decca Records is releasing the soundtrack on December 18, with 28 tracks that includes music from composer Ennio Morricone and songs from The White Stripes, Roy Orbison and David Hess.

The soundtrack will include David Hess' Now You're All Alone from The Last House on the Left soundtrack, The White Stripes song Apple Blossom and Roy Orbison's There Won't Be Many Coming Home, which is from the 1967 movie The Fastest Guitar Alive, where the singer made his first and only film appearance.
