President Trump once again phoned into Fox News on Tuesday morning, and he was eager to discuss “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt’s relationship with fellow Fox News host Sean Hannity. Among the president’s questions? Who makes more money in the relationship.
Earhardt and Hannity have been public about their relationship for a while now, announcing their engagement at the end of last year. It appeared Trump was unaware of that, though, worrying that he might’ve outed them.
“There’s a guy named Sean Hannity. He might take a very lovely young lady that he knows very, very well to dinner in Washington. And they don’t have to — she’s sitting right next to you by the way,” Trump said with a laugh. “I don’t want to get him in trouble, so I better explain exactly. We don’t want any secrets here.”

A video of Rebekah Koffler’s interview with Fox News from the night of Donald Trump‘s birthday military parade is going viral after she appeared to be intoxicated during the live broadcast. Koffler, a former Defense Intelligence Agency officer, appeared during Lawrence Jones and Emily Compagno‘s broadcast to offer her commentary on the parade. The start time of Koffler’s hit was delayed, and she noted on X in a now-deleted message that she was “refilling my #champagne glass” before going on-air. Once Jones and Compagno introduced her, Koffler was noticeably slurring her words and swaying in the video frame. “This is incredible, finally, the United States is back,” Koffler dragged out. “I want to really thank all our Army, Navy, and Air Force officers who have been sacrificing their lives, literally. Their families have been contributing to the mission. Most of the time, the past quarter of a century,...

In a bizarre turn of events, Fox News abruptly cut off its Saturday night interview with Rebekah Koffler after the wobbly former defense intelligence agency officer launched off on an incoherent tangent about Donald Trump’s controversial military parade meant to celebrate the Army’s 250th anniversary.
“I’m so excited, Emily and Lucas Tomlinson,” Koffler said to Fox News anchors Emily Compagno and Lawrence Jones, slurring her words and misidentifying the “Fox and Friends” host. “Everybody, like this is incredible! Finally, the United States is back! I want to really thank all of our army, navy and air force officers who’ve been sacrificing their lives, literally. Fox Network did not immediately respond to Variety‘s request for comment.

Does a parade meant to celebrate the nation truly exist if it can’t get on national broadcast TV?
Mainstream TV-news outlets seem divided over how to cover an extravagant display of military might along the streets of Washington, D.C. from the Trump administration. A June 14 parade and accompanying festivities meant to call attention to the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army will be something to see, with three kinds of helicopters; Bradley vehicles; a fireworks display; and a parachute jump by the Golden Knights demonstration team.
Some will give the event a mere nod, while others will utilize all the resources a national TV newsroom can muster.
ABC News, NBC News and CBS News are unlikely to pre-empt regular TV programming for coverage of the event, according to people familiar with their plans. ABC News plans to “cover the parade across programs and platforms, including 24/7 streaming news channel...

Reporter Peter Doocy was forced to duck for cover live on Fox News on Friday morning (April 11) after a bird landed on his head outside the White House. The moment happened as Doocy was broadcasting live via a video link on the lawns of the White House. After discussing the latest trade war between the United States and China, Fox & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt asked Doocy about President Donald Trump‘s latest Truth Social post on the matter. Doocy was midway through his answer when a bird swooped into shot and momentarily landed on his head. “A bird just landed on my head!” Doocy yelled as the bird flew at him again, causing him to duck. “Fox & Friends” was not laughing at Tom Hanks’ portrayal of a racist President Trump fan during the “SNL50” special on Sunday.
On Monday morning, co-host Lawrence Jones said he doesn’t “censor comedy, but that wasn’t funny.”
Fellow “F&f” co-host Kayleigh McEnany felt the same way, saying “SNL” “must have gotten the script from Don Lemon.”
“Remember when he made fun of Maga voters, or his guest did for not being able to point out a country on the map? That’s ridiculous,” she said.
Hanks played a man named “Tracy” who was wearing one of President Trump’s trademark red Make America Great Again hats while appearing on “Black Jeopardy,” but it was actually a recurring bit — Hanks played the same character on “SNL” before in a “Black Jeopardy” sketch in 2016. The original sketch is the second most-watched “SNL” sketch of all time.

Updated: With reports that Donald Trump is eyeing potential alternatives to Pete Hegseth as defense secretary, some of the former Fox & Friends Weekend host’s colleagues attempted to give him a boost.

Not many people who work at Fox News Channel get to push back at Sean Hannity. Lawrence Jones is one of them.
When Jones was just getting started at the Fox Corp.-backed conservative-leaning news outlet, Hannity took him under his wing, and offered advice, even the chance to start appearing on his well-watched primetime program. At first, “I told him no,” Jones recalls, “I’m more libertarian. You’re more conservative. I just want to be able to do what I do.” Hannity told him the pair could use their differences to create interesting segments. “We will make it a thing on TV,” Jones remembers being told.
Lawrence Jones continues to do things differently at Fox News Channel. At 31, he is decidedly younger than many of the network’s best-known personalities. He is one of just a handful of people of color who hold regular posts on the Fox News schedule.

Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly went on the record this week in two bombshell interviews detailing his concerns about former President Donald Trump’s fascist ambitions.
On Tuesday, Kelly told The New York Times that the former president meets the established definition of fascism. “Certainly the former president is in the far-right area, he’s certainly an authoritarian, admires people who are dictators — he has said that. So he certainly falls into the general definition of fascist, for sure,” Kelly said, adding that Trump “certainly prefers the dictator approach to government.

Fox News anchors Steve Doocy, Rachel Campos-Duffy, and Will Cain all joined the show virtually to celebrate Jones’ official appointment.
“It looks like the bosses are allowing me to join ‘Fox & Friends’ full-time as one of y’all’s co-hosts,” Jones said as Doocy offered him a round of applause.

Fox News kicked off a marketing campaign for its new primetime lineup, touting the four conservative hosts helming the weekday evenings as “the right voices at the right time.”
The promo, released Monday by cable news network, introduces Laura Ingraham as the “No. 1 female host on cable news.” Moving from her 10 p.m. timeslot to kick off the evening at 7 p.m., Ingraham cements her place in the pack by saying “real Americans need to be heard.” Next up is Jesse Watters at 8 p.m., who declares that “we cover the stories nobody else will.”

Fox News’ lineup changes will shift two familiar faces, Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld, to primetime — a move that is bound to secure a ratings bump while ushering in a new brand of extremism that media experts warn could be a “liability” for the network in the wake of the Dominion Voting Systems settlement.
Announced just over two months after Tucker Carlson’s abrupt departure, Watters has effectively been crowned his successor after taking over the 8 p.m. timeslot, which had been occupied by “Fox News Tonight” since Carlson’s absence.

Fox News is shaking up its primetime lineup … on the weekends, at least.
The cable news channel says that it will launch a new lineup beginning this weekend, with some shows switching timeslots, and one program, The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton, ending its run on the channel.

Update: Fox News issued another statement to address potential changes to its primetime schedule, this time on the status of Laura Ingraham.
A network spokesperson said, “Reports based on various tweets by left wing activists are wildly inaccurate — Laura Ingraham, the top-rated woman in cable news, is now and will continue to be a prominent host and integral part of the Fox News lineup.”
The latest Fox News statement does not address whether she will remain in her 10 p.m. Et time period, but the network statement is a pushback on social media rumors that she is exiting.
The speculation about Ingraham started after the Drudge Report, in its main headline, reported that Fox News was about to overhaul its primetime line up, with Hannity leading the 8 p.m. hour and shows hosted by Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld taking the later slots. That left the question of what would happen to Ingraham.

After Tucker, a deluge of speculation.
Fox News Channel is considering “multiple scenarios” for its primetime lineup after the ouster of Tucker Carlson, with the network declining to comment on a recent report that veteran Sean Hannity might move into its primetime lead-off hour at 8 p.m.
“No decision has been made on a new primetime line-up and there are multiple scenarios under consideration,” Fox News said in a statement Wednesday. Since Carlson was ousted in late April, Fox News has filled his hour with “Fox News Tonight,” an opinion show that relies on a rotating array of hosts. June has always held a special place in my heart. It is the month that marks the end of a painful chapter in American history. On Sunday, we celebrate Juneteenth and remember the many who sacrificed so much to bring an end to slavery.
For as long as I can remember, my Mama and Daddy talked to my siblings and I about the meaning and the importance of Juneteenth. This was especially honored in my household growing up in the state of Texas, the state where troops arrived in Galveston to ensure all slaves would be freed.
As kids, we learned about the struggles and strife that impacted my community not just during around this solemn holiday, but year-round. More importantly, Mama and Daddy sought to inspire us and reinforce the idea that – in the United States – the American Dream is attainable. My Daddy made it clear that despite the historical injustices our community faced,...

More importantly, Mama and Daddy sought to inspire us and reinforce the idea that – in the United States – the American Dream is attainable. My Daddy made it clear that despite the historical injustices our community faced,...

Amy Schumer, one of the three co-hosts at the 2022 Oscars (you may remember her dangling from the ceiling in a Spider-Man suit), hit Instagram late Tuesday night with what appeared, at first, to be a simple plug of her latest show, “Life & Beth” on Hulu, and a reminder that she’s taking her live act on the road this autumn. What came next, however, was Schumer’s attempt to unpack her feelings following Sunday night’s Oscars shocker: Will Smith slapping Chris Rock across the face.
“But for real,” she wrote in her caption. “Still triggered and traumatized.”
Schumer, who was not involved in any direct way with the incident, added, “I’m still in shock and stunned and sad. I’m proud of myself and my co-hosts. But yeah. Waiting for this sickening feeling to go away from what we all witnessed.”
She also gave a shout-out to Rock,...

Fox News will install Lawrence Jones and Brian Kilmeade in new solo hours on Saturday nights, filling two holes vacated when the Fox Corp.-backed network moved Jesse Watters and Jeanine Pirro to new weekday duties.
As part of the overhaul, Dan Bongino’s show will move to 9 p.m. from 10 p.m. eastern, anchoring between Kilmeade at 9 p.m,. and Jones at 10, creating a three-hour opinion block that starts in early evening. The new lineup will kick off January 29.
The moves elevate an up-and-coming presence at Fox News as well as one of its veterans. Jones, a former activist for conservative and libertarian causes, joined Fox News in 2018, often leading “people in the street” segments during Sean Hannity’s primetime show. He was later given duties on “Fox & Friends,” where he has filled in for the trio of regular hosts, which include Kilmeade. Jones also did time as...

A man has been arrested and charged with arson for allegedly burning a 50-foot tall Christmas tree outside the Fox News headquarters in New York City.
According to a New York Police Department spokesperson, a 49-year-old homeless man named Craig Tamanaha was charged Wednesday morning at 12:23 a.m. for arson, criminal trespassing, criminal tampering, criminal mischief, endangering others, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment. At 12:14 a.m., he was spotted by Fox News Channel security guards climbing the Christmas tree outside their office on the corner of West 48th Street and Sixth Avenue in Midtown.
Fdny firefighters put out the blaze within the tree without further injury or incident. Upon arrest, police officers found a lighter on Tamanaha, but it’s unclear if any accelerant was used. There were no injuries during the incident, and the NYC Fire Marshall is working to determine a cause of the fire as the investigation is ongoing.

On Thursday’s “Late Show,” Stephen Colbert reached out to a higher power with a plea that Georgia governor and a “man whose smile has anger issues,” Brian Kemp, never runs for president. On Wednesday, Kemp went on Fox News to condemn vaccine passports and butchered an expression so badly that George W. Bush was like, “wait, what did he say?”
“It is America, the land of the home, and freedom reigns,” Kemp said as he signed off from his interview.
“Land of the home and freedom reigns! It’s as American as pie-ball and the mom and bars,” Colbert joked.
“I got to say, props to Fox host Lawrence Jones, who just rolled with it,” Colbert said of the young Fox News host who slickly replied to Kemp’s mistake without missing a beat. “For now it is,” he said.
