Bud Joseph Hebert (pronounced Ay-Bear) was born and raised in South Louisiana, where he excelled in multiple sports-including football, baseball, track & field, and wrestling-at Hanson Memorial High School. He went on to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he was a member of the university's rugby team.
After college, Bud moved to New Orleans and began a successful modeling career. He modeled for major brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Wella, Coleman, and several others.
In 2005, Bud relocated to Hollywood to pursue a career in acting. He began his formal training at the Ricardo Montalban Academy, where he had the opportunity to interact with various working actors, including the legendary Ricardo Montalban himself.
Since 2007, Bud has studied method acting under the guidance of Anna and David Strasberg at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. His training included method-based techniques such as sensory work, memory exercises, scene study, film & television acting, stage combat, improvisation, and theatre history. He completed the institute's four-year conservatory program in 2012.
Bud played college football in 2013 for East Los Angeles College, demonstrating his continued passion for athletics.
