San Diego Comic-Con badge holders will be the first to watch the first two Twisted Metal season two episodes. Exclusive: With production on Peacock’s Twisted Metal Season 2 currently underway, the series has added Saylor Bell Curda (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Michael James Shaw (The Walking Dead) and Lisa Gilroy (Interior Chinatown) in recurring roles.

They join leads Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz, shown on set in new images below. Additional cast for the new season includes returning stars Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett, and newly added Anthony Carrigan, Richard de Klerk, Patty Guggenheim and Tiana Okoye.

The Disney+ extension of the popular movie musical trilogy concluded this week with an eight-episode fourth season that found its cast performing a stage — or rather, basketball court — production of 2008’s “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.” Members of that film’s original cast returned to East High to shoot the fictional “High School Musical 4: The Reunion.”

Disney Branded Television and Disney+ Hotstar released the teaser for the Disney+ Original series ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’, revealing that the Wildcats will take their final bow this summer. From Disney Branded Television, the Emmy-nominated television series was inspired by the hugely popular ‘High School Musical‘ movies, which first aired on Disney Channel in 2006 and 2007, and theatrically in 2008.

The series will end with its fourth season, Disney+ and showrunner Tim Federle announced Wednesday. Season four is set to premiere on Aug. 9 with a binge release of all eight episodes. The series also released a trailer for the final season.

“This series was always about found family, and about making something you love with people you love. In other words, it was a tribute to theater kids,” Federle said in a statement. “I can’t wait for our dedicated fan base to watch this world-class cast take a final bow.”
