Luber Roklin Entertainment Signs ‘Obliterated’ Star Nick Zano
Image
Exclusive: Luber Roklin Entertainment has signed actor Nick Zano for management.

Currently, Zano can be seen leading the Netflix action comedy series, Obliterated, created by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald, the team behind Cobra Kai. The show follows an elite Special Forces team who successfully defuse a terrorist network’s bomb in Las Vegas. However, after celebrating their victory with a wild night of partying, they discover that the bomb they thought they disarmed is still live, and they have to race against time, while severely hungover, to save the day once again. Zano plays Chad McKnight, the team’s brash and charismatic leader.

Previously, Zano was seen on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow at The CW, which he starred in for six seasons. The superhero series saw him play Nate Heywood aka Steel, a historian-turned-superhero who gains the ability to transform his skin into a steel-like substance,...

Legends Of Tomorrow's Season 8 Update: Why It Was Canceled
Image
DC's Legends of Tomorrow season 8 didn't push through, and the show was canceled after the seventh season's finale. For seven seasons, Legends of Tomorrow, much like its titular team, was DC's plucky little CW show that could. When it premiered, it almost seemed like a catch-all show for characters who had been cut from the other Arrowverse shows due to casts getting too unwieldy — with more cynical critics ever dismissing it as a cheap attempt to snag viewers.

Over time though Legends of Tomorrow grew into its own, becoming the Arrowverse's most delightfully wacky and weird show. However, this wasn't enough to prevent Legends of Tomorrow from being one of the various CW shows canceled in 2022. Indeed, having a lot of heart couldn't save Legends of Tomorrow from getting canned - and the reason boils down to business. Now that the dust has settled, the rumors of Legends of Tomorrow...

Legends of Tomorrow Fan-Favorite Exits Ahead of Potential Season 8
Olivia Swann, Shayan Sobhian, Nick Zano, Amy Louise Pemberton, Matt Ryan, Adam Tsekhman, Caity Lotz, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan, and Lisseth Chavez in DC: Legends of Tomorrow (2016)
If The CW picks up DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 8, it will be without a fan favorite.

Tuesday's Legends of Tomorrow Season 7 Episode 13 found the team bidding farewell to Nick Zano's Nate Heywood.

During the shocking season finale, Nate lost his steel exterior, leaving him without his superpower.

If you watch Legends of Tomorrow online, you know everyone on the Waverider has a distinct reason for being there.

Without his power, he was not as valuable to the team as he once was, which made for a bittersweet conclusion for his arc.

Ultimately, he made his way back to the totem to live the remainder of his life with Zari 1.0.

Zano boarded the Arrowverse series during Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 and racked up 94 episodes.

While his character's arc is complete, the show has had a revolving door of cast members since the beginning, so we probably shouldn't rule out...

Arrowverse: 10 Things Only Comic Fans Know About Steel
Nate Heywood (aka Citizen Steel) is a crucial member of the Legends of Tomorrow. Despite the fact he wasn't with the team from the start, he now is one of its oldest members. Just like many characters on the show, Nate also has special powers, can change his body into steel.

The show's creators didn't come up with this power by chance since Nate has a very similar set of skills in the comics as well. However, the fans who only know Nate Heywood from the Arrowverse might be surprised to find out that there are also many things that are different about him in the comics.

The Rock Is President of the United States in DC's Legends of Tomorrow
Image
The ArrowVerse is about to make Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson president. In the future at least. This, according to a new featurette that previews what's to come on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. As the footage reveals, the wrestler-turned-actor, in their universe, becomes President of the United States in the year 2045.

Legends of Tomorrow is currently airing its sixth season. The featurette includes footage from the upcoming third episode, titled The Ex-Factor. Some choice footage from that episode sees Nate Heywood (Nick Zano) excitedly discovering that Dwayne Johnsonis our Potus in the future. John Cena also gets some love, with Heywood expressing hope that the WWE star and actor is Johnson's Chief of Staff. A synopsis for the episode reads as follows.

"The Legends find themselves in 2045 trying to defeat an Alien warrior which leaves Zari (Tala Ashe) no choice but to enter a popular singing competition. Ava (Jes Macallan) has...

Dominic Purcell Says He’s ‘Walking Away’ From ‘Legends of Tomorrow,’ but Will Return ‘Periodically’
Image
Updated: Dominic Purcell originally posted to Instagram on Friday night that he is leaving “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” but clarified on Saturday that he will still appear on the show “periodically.”

Though Purcell has now deleted the Instagram post announcing his departure altogether, in an updated caption on Saturday, he claimed that the original post was to watch the press “be click-bated.” However, he still maintained that he is leaving the show, writing: “Truth is yes I am leaving @cw_legendsoftomorrow but will come back periodically.”

“It’s a handshake deal with my boss Phil Klemmer. I don’t have a beef with studio @warnerbrostv,” he continued in the now-deleted Instagram post.

Purcell first made the announcement on Friday night, indicating the decision came out of conflict with the studio.

“Deal isn’t done,” he wrote in the original caption. “I have no interest. What ever cash they throw on the corporate level.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the stoner little brother of the CW DC television universe, is on its way back in May, and Den of Geek is psyched to give you an exclusive first look at the new poster. In keeping with the show’s themes, it’s a subdued period piece.

The poster features all the returning cast members – Caity Lotz as White Canary Sara Lance; her girlfriend, Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan); Matt Ryan as the platonic ideal of John Constantine; Nick Zano as the heart and soul (and liver) of the Waverider, Shotgun Nate Heywood; Tala Ashe’s Zari Tarazi; and Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave. The poster also features new regulars – the delightful Gary (Adam Tsekhman); Constantine fixer-upper success story Astra Logue (Olivia Swann); Behrad Tarazi (Shayan Sobhian), Zari’s brother and the superhero equivalent of Schrodinger’s sibling; and newcomer Lisseth Chavez as Spooner Cruz, a...

Chicago Pd Loses Series Regular Ahead of Season 8
When Chicago Pd finally returns for Season 8, it will be without a series regular.

Per TV Line, Lisseth Chavez is bowing out of the role of Intelligence unit rookie Vanessa Rojas after one season.

If you watch Chicago Pd online, you know Rojas first arrived as an undercover cop, who went on to become a part of Voight's team.

She got close to Atwater, with the two becoming fast friends.

It's unclear how Roja's exit will be addressed on-screen, or if the actress could pop up to wrap up her storyline.

But Chavez will not be away from the small screen for long, with the actress becoming the newest recruit of the Waveride on The CW's Legends of Tomorrow.

She has landed the series regular role of alien expert Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz, according to TV Line.

Here is the official logline for Season 6.

What Happened To Sara?

Sara Lance was celebrating with the rest of the team. She defeated Atropos, the stabby Fate whose light blinded Sara and gave her the ability to see people’s deaths if she touched them, by kicking her into the Loom of Fate, destroying it. She fixed her crew and helped save her friend Charlie from the crippling self-doubt and inadequacy pushed on her by her evil fate sister, Lachesis. She got loaded at a Smell show in 1970s London. And then she got abducted by aliens.

Legends Photos: The Team Is Trapped in Star Trek, Downton Abbey Parodies

Legends of Tomorrow‘s next time-traveling adventure will take the Waverider team through television history.

In the May 26 episode (The CW, 9/8c), Charlie tries to protect the Legends from her sisters by “scattering them in different television shows,” including Star Trek and Downton Abbey, as seen in newly released photos. (A trailer also hinted at a Friends parody.) “Of course, in true Legends style, some can’t just be blissfully ignorant and happy, but figure out a way to end up messing with the system,” per the official synopsis.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 12 Review: Freaks and Greeks
Image
This Legends of Tomorrow review contains spoilers.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 12

“Freaks and Greeks” is the first episode since Legends of Tomorrow returned from a pandemic-prolonged hiatus where the real world started to creep into my personal enjoyment of the show.

I don’t think this is a unique problem to me, nor is it something that only happens to Legends of Tomorrow. It’s been two months since I high fived anyone other than my toddler or since I stood within ten feet of another person without getting mad about it. But for the most part, I haven’t been all that freaked out about it happening in my fiction. Until I saw the Legends and an entire campus of college kids drinking out of the same cup. That’S How You Get Pregnant, Guys. I mean the ‘rona. That’s how you get the ‘rona.

Legends of Tomorrow: Nick Zano and Nate Heywood Form New Bonds
Nick Zano
Nick Zano claims he’s never shotgunned a beer before.

On its face, this feels ridiculous. If there’s any scripted show on television right now that seems like the cast engages in some periodic competitive drinking behind the scenes, it’s Legends of Tomorrow. But talk to him about it, as we did ahead of “Freaks and Greeks,” the next episode in the show’s still-wonderful fifth season, and it actually makes more sense. He hasn’t shotgunned a beer because he comes from a line of professional drinkers. “Ever go to a bar in New Jersey at 10:00 Am to 2:00 Pm?” he asks? “[His grandmother] was your bartender.”

So while Zano’s deft handling of a keyring and a can of Noonan’s Lite in the episode is out of the ordinary, his handling of his character on the show, Nate Heywood, the adventure professor who can turn to steel,...

Why Legends of Tomorrow’s Depiction of Male Friendship Matters
Brandon Routh
Though few fans were happy about the news that real-life spouses Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford were leaving the show, Legends of Tomorrow did its best to send the pair off in a way that befitted both their characters. Onscreen couple Ray Palmer and Nora Dahrk tied the knot before deciding to depart the Waverider, and while there’s certainly a conversation to be had about the rushed nature of their trip to the altar, the end result feels earned enough.

Interestingly, however, the focus of the pair’s final episode isn’t on their love story or even the reasons behind their choice to return to life in the real world. Rather, Ray’s relationship with his bestie Nate Heywood takes center stage in “Romeo vs. Juliet: Dawn of Justness,” reminding us all that for all the things Legends does right (of which there are many), its depiction of...

‘DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow’ Adds Joanna Vanderham As Season 5 Villain
Joanna Vanderham
Joanna Vanderham is set to play a recurring role as one of the “big bads” for Season 5 of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the time-traveling superhero series that returns Jan. 21 with its season premiere on The CW.

No word yet on the name of the character but it’s a villain described as “a ruthless killing machine with daggers made of bones. Wherever she goes, death follows.”

Producers note that Vanderham’s character has history that ties her to the past of Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), the British shapeshifter who joined the Waverider crew in Season 4 to avoid banishment in hell.

“When [Vanderham’s character] arrives on the Waverider, Charlie — and the Legends — will never be the same.”

New Legends Of Tomorrow Poster Reveals Season 5 Premiere Date
Somewhat lagging behind the other Arrowverse series this year, Legends of Tomorrow has finally revealed its season 5 premiere date through a new poster. The show will be back on Tuesday, January 21st, 2020, after presenting a special episode a week earlier to wrap up the highly anticipated “Crisis on Infinite Earths” arc.

We know the season 5 premiere will be called “Meet the Legends,” suggesting that this year will be something of a soft reboot for Legends of Tomorrow after the confirmed departure of Brandon Routh and Courtney Ford as series regulars. This summer saw the news that Astra Logue will be season 5’s big bad as well, the aged up version of the girl that John Constantine condemned to Hell. We also know that Matt Ryan’s Constantine will again be a series regular, and that Tala Ashe is going to be tackling a new version of Zari. Routh and Ford are,...

How Legends Of Tomorrow Season 4 Finale Teased Crisis On Infinite Earths
Following Arrow‘s major hint at what’s to come in this fall’s big crossover, both The Flash and Supergirl followed suit by sowing the seeds for future developments in “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” Arrowverse fans went into yesterday’s Legends of Tomorrow‘s season 4 finale expecting much the same thing, then, and sure enough, it didn’t disappoint.

The episode, titled “Hey World,” saw the Legends finally defeat Neron, with Nate Heywood’s Heyworld amusement park proving key. Showing the world that monsters can be friends and not feared resulted in the future changing away from the dystopian, anti-metahuman one visited previously. The only catch was, though, that this would mean Zari would be affected, too. If her personal past was changed, she might no longer be a Legend.

In order to protect her from the changes, Zari had to stay on board the Waverider. But this proved...

Legends Of Tomorrow Suit Up As The Trinity In Season 4 Finale Photos
Now that Legends of Tomorrow‘s fourth season is nearly at its end, I think we can all agree that the show is more insane than ever before. Last season, it became obvious how the producers wanted to have more fun with the series and further differentiate it from the rest of the Arrowverse. And now, the firm establishment of magical creatures’ existence has opened up a new level of zaniness.

Speaking of which, such beings look to factor heavily into the season finale, “Hey, World!” From what we can gather, the Waverider crew aim to show the public at large that most of the mystical persuasion are actually harmless. This is, of course, in stark contrast to what Neron is leading everybody to believe as he continues masquerading as Ray Palmer.

If you need something to tide you over while you wait for this spring’s concluding episode, then...

Legends of Tomorrow Boss Opens Up About Season 4's Big Bad Switcheroo, Teases Visit to a 'Stodgy' Hell
A funny thing happened when DC’s Legends of Tomorrow cast Season 4’s Big Bad last summer: they turned out to really like Biff Tannen.

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Season 4 Review
If any DC series is deserving of a “most improved” award, it’s most certainly Legends of Tomorrow. Sure, there were some definite highlights to fondly remember from the first two years such as “Star City 2046,” but I often kept watching just for the sake of keeping current on all things Arrowverse. Now, however, I look forward to tuning in on a weekly basis.

Though it’s hard to credit one person alone for the turnaround because everyone making up the cast and crew deserve a round of applause, I hope that others will agree with me in saying that season 3 was when this show really found its footing. In short, the time traveling adventures were finally enjoyable, and the appropriate injection of comedy was delivered.

Admittedly, I’m one to lean toward the more serious stuff and prefer darker material offered up by the likes of Arrow, Gotham and Black Lightning,...

Here’s How Constantine Fits Into Legends Of Tomorrow Season 4
Though many of you reading this no doubt lament NBC’s cancellation of Constantine to this day, you have to admit that its early demise certainly opened up a world of possibilities for the character. Had the plug not been pulled, the charismatic demonologist would’ve never been introduced into the Arrowverse, let alone granted a recurring role on Legends of Tomorrow, in addition to a headlining gig in his own animated web series/movie, that being City of Demons.

Truth be told, despite the fact that the time traveling superhero series has already built up quite the rapport with its fanbase, it’s arguable that seeing Constantine taking residence aboard the Waverider just might be the major drawing point this season. Hey, as much as I dug what the show’s third year had to offer, seeing John being his arrogant self on a regular basis strikes me as being highly appealing.

Legends Of Tomorrow Showrunner Hints At Another Cast Member Exit
Legends of Tomorrow reaches its third season finale next week and it promises to feature more heroes than ever. As well as another guest appearance for Jonah Hex, there’s a welcome return for ex-Firestorm Jax and a role for John Constantine, too, setting up his promotion to series regular for season 4. The finale won’t just be full of reunions, however, but will also feature a tragic goodbye. That’s right, one crew member of the Waverider is set to leave the show.

That’s what Legends producer Phil Klemmer has revealed while talking to TVLine. “There’s heartbreak in the finale. A Legend leaves,” he said. The showrunner then helpfully narrowed it down to two candidates, as he teased that the romance between Amaya Jiwe and Nate Heywood would come to an end in the finale.

John Noble Will Soon Appear On Legends Of Tomorrow In An Unexpected Way
If you’ve been following Legends of Tomorrow this season, then you’re probably aware of how the current big bad, Mallus, is voiced by the incomparable John Noble. Having already lent his pipes to other DC characters in a variety of media – Superman: Unbound‘s Brainiac and Batman: Arkham Knight‘s Scarecrow immediately spring to mind – odds are that you’ve acquainted yourself with him at some point.

But when it comes to the demon Mallus, it’s been said that he’ll be a creation of CGI when we finally see him, perhaps hinting at a truly grotesque visage. Still, that doesn’t mean a physical appearance to be made by Noble is an impossibility, as executive producer Marc Guggenheim had this to offer in a recent discussion with Entertainment Weekly:

“We figured out a very Legends-like way to actually get John Noble the actor into the show.

John Constantine Will Return To Legends Of Tomorrow This Season
Arrowverse fans got a treat this week as the long-awaited Legends of Tomorrow midseason premiere saw Matt Ryan return as John Constantine for the first time in live-action since Arrow season 4. And while he sadly didn’t stick around on board the Waverider, it’s now been confirmed that the Hellblazer will return in time for the end of the season.

ComicBook.com were told by Warner Bros. Television that Constantine will reappear in the fifteenth episode of season 3, titled “Necromancing the Stone.” Fans can look forward to that airing on The CW in five weeks’ time, though plot details and the like are being kept under wraps for now.

What’s also interesting is that we’ve got some new evidence which suggests that Ryan will possibly hang around for the episode after that, as well, and feature as part of the season finale. Legends’ Nick Zano – who plays...

First Look At Wally West On Legends Of Tomorrow
After a few weeks of rumours and fan theories, it was officially confirmed not too long ago that Keiynan Lonsdale would be swapping The Flash for Legends of Tomorrow when The CW superhero show returns from its midseason break. Now, that news has been followed up with our very first look at Wally West on board the Waverider.

Legends star Nick Zano – who plays Nate Heywood/Steel – shared a behind the scenes image on his Instagram account this week which features Maisie Richardson-Sellers, in costume as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen, alongside Lonsdale ready to go as Kid Flash. Zano took the time to properly welcome his new co-star onto the team, too, with the caption for his photo reading: “It’s about to go [down]… #kidflash is an official member #LegendOfTomorrow.”

You can check it out in the gallery below along with some pics from the next episode, which is titled “Daddy Darhkest.

Keiynan Lonsdale Confirmed As Series Regular For Legends Of Tomorrow
From the start, Legends of Tomorrow set itself apart from the rest of the Arrowverse pack by being a true ensemble show – and there was also the time travel element, of course. But, as the series endures, its lineup has gradually seen its fair share of changes, not unlike any heavy metal band that’s been around for a number of years.

To be more specific, the current season has seen the exits of both Victor Garber’s Martin Stein and Franz Drameh’s Jeffferson Jackson – both halves of Firestorm – thus leaving a considerable void. And while John Constantine and Citizen Cold will be around for the short term, the Waverider is in desperate need of more permanent fixtures.

Truth be told, one slot that absolutely must be filled is that of someone who is capable of keeping up the ship’s maintenance, a role that had previously been taken on by Jax.

Legends of Tomorrow Adds Keiynan Lonsdale As Series Regular
Kid Flash, aka Wally West, is officially a full-fledged member of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The Flash star Keiynan Lonsdale will join Legends as a series regular starting in episode 13.

“We loved working with Keiynan in our series premiere — the episode in which we learned that in between seasons 2 and 3 he had been fighting crime in Central City with Nick Zano’s Nate Heywood. So when his character stepped away from Flash to go on walkabout, after being dumped and feeling somewhat estranged from his family and team, we knew that Wally West would fit in perfectly on Legends,” executive producer Phil Klemmer told Entertainment Weekly.

‘DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow’: Nick Zano Joins As New Hero With Steel Pedigree
Image
Exclusive: Nick Zano is joining the cast of the CW’s superhero drama series DC’S Legends of Tomorrow as a new series regular for Season 2. He will play Dr. Nate Heywood, a historian whose grandfather was Commander Steel, a member of the Justice Society of America.

In the comics, Nate becomes Steel/Citizen Steel, a former member of the Justice League of America. The producers of the CW series are being ambiguous whether Nate will walk in his grandfather’s super heroic footsteps but, given the superhero nature of the show, that appears almost certain.

The original Steel comic book character Henry Heywood/Commander Steel was introduced back in 1978. He should not be confused with a better known DC character, John Henry Irons, who became a Superman-influenced character calling himself Steel after the famous Death of Superman storyline in the early 90s.

Following the original Commander Steel, the WWII-set Henry Heywood,...
