A group of pro-Palestine actors, writers, directors and crew is taking their fight to SAG-AFTRA.

Mark Ruffalo, Cynthia Nixon, Common, Susan Sarandon and Rosie O’Donnell are among the more than 700 movie and TV professionals to sign an open letter from SAG-AFTRA & Sister Guild Members for Ceasefire, calling for an end to the “industry’s McCarthyist repression of members who acknowledge Palestinian suffering.”

Todd Grinnell and Isis King, who both star in the show With Love, discussed trans visibility and the development of their relationship on season two of the show in their new exclusive uInterview for LGBTQ Pride Month.

Grinnell, who plays Dr. Miles Murphy, explained how their relationship has evolved between seasons one and two.

“We started season one as we did in the relationship like we’re getting to know each other and it was all kind of new and there was a lot of learning and growing,” he told uInterview founder Erik Meers. “And so in season two we really see the evolution of the relationship and we get into more, I think, even more honesty between Miles and Sol. But ultimately the love, I think, strengthens even more throughout season two and Miles brings Sol more into his, you know, life.”

King’s character, Sol, has a different perspective on season two.

Six new episodes of With Love will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video beginning June 2. While season 1 saw Lily's parents, Jorge Sr. (Benito Martinez) and Beatriz (Constance Marie), struggling to keep their marriage afloat, season 2 is already looking more optimistic for the couple. A near-death experience in the finale caused both characters to recognize the love they have for one another, inspiring them to do whatever it takes to keep the family together.

Marie has over fifty acting credits, with her longest-running roles being Santa Barbara, George Lopez, and Switched at Birth. Meanwhile, Martinez is known for his work on The Shield and can currently be seen playing Gabriel Reyes in 9-1-1: Lone Star. Exclusive: Outfest has today unveiled the lineup for the third edition of its LGBTQ+ TV festival Outfronts, a four-day virtual gathering to take place this year from June 2-5.

“Cruel Summer” and “Grown-ish” return to Freeform as part of their summer roster along with a brand-new animated comedy series “Praise Petey,” the network announced Monday. “Cruel Summer” returns with Season 2 and “Grown-ish” will be kicking off its sixth and final season with a two-part release.

The first half of “Grown-ish” Season 6 premieres June 28 and features Justine Skye and Tara Raani as returning series regulars. This season follows Annika (Skye), a sharp and funny aspiring media star who picks a college that best fits her personal brand. “Raani plays Zaara, a first generation Indian American whose fearlessness inspires Junior as his best friend and go-to shoulder to lean on,” says the official show synopsis.

Any show juggling multiple relationship dynamics gives itself the gift of possibility and the challenge of balancing it all at once. HBO released a teaser for comedy series “Somebody Somewhere,” which debuts Jan. 16, 2022 at 10:30 p.m. and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

The seven-episode series follows a Kansan, Sam (Bridget Everett), who struggles to fit into the hometown mold but finds singing to be her saving grace, the outlet of expression leading her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who also don’t fit in. The teaser reads “a coming of middle age story” as characters Sam and Joel (Jeff Hiller) sit in a car together, chastising one another and having a good laugh.

Season one, consisting of five hour-long episodes, follows the Diaz siblings, Lily (Emeraude Toubia) and Jorge (Mark Indelicato), who are on a mission to find love and purpose. The duo cross paths with seemingly unrelated residents during some of the most heightened days of the year — the holidays.

HBO Max's LGBTQ+ civil rights docuseries, Equal, which premiered on Oct. 22, comes at a pivotal time with the upcoming election. The series is split into four parts and covers the early rise of LGBTQ+ organizations, the 20th century transgender experience, the Black community's contributions to the LGBTQ+ civil rights movement, and the Stonewall uprising. Throughout the episodes, Equal showcases the evolution of just how tirelessly the communities have worked to have their voices heard. Nonbinary actor Theo Germaine - who portrays real-life figure Jack Starr during the second part titled "Transgender Pioneers" - spoke to Popsugar recently about the importance of using your voice for change, what it was like working with LGBTQ+ icons important to them, and what they hope people take away from the docuseries.

Following “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling’s anti-trans tweets earlier this week – and her further defense of her comments in a 3,600 word essay – alums of the incredibly successful film franchise as well as other celebrities have publicly spoken out against the British writer.

Most recently, Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the series, tweeted a short statement regarding her views on transgender rights. “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren’t who they say they are,” Watson wrote.
