John Jillard Sr. was born and raised in New Jersey. He went on to served more than 3 years in the United States Army. During his time in the Army he wrote most of the film "Battle", But was not until 4 years after leaving the Army he took a shot at acting after his daughter did a few commercials. Now a member of SAG/Aftra he continues to work hard at acting as a profession while working a normal job to provide for his family.
