By Order of the Peaky Blinders, one key member of the crime series' cast in the final seasons of the show won't be returning when the upcoming Netflix feature-length movie, The Immortal Man, brings back the Birmingham-based gangsters. Sam Claflin, who played real-life fascist Oswald Mosley in the show's fifth and sixth seasons, has revealed recently that he wouldn't be returning for the upcoming film. Upon his introduction to the story, it didn't take long for Claflin's character to become entangled in a tussle of sorts with the show's main protagonist, Cillian Murphy's Tommy Shelby, as both stood on opposite sides of what they believed should be Europe's future.
The Season 6 finale of Peaky Blinders saw Claflin's Mosley, just like in real life, getting married to Lady Diana Mitford, played by Amber Anderson in the series, in Germany in 1936. Claflin, while speaking with Metro about his performance in the...

The release of My Oxford Year is just around the corner, and fans could not be more hyped. Since romance fans are extremely particular about the kinds of films they like, it is quite surprising for fans to be this excited about a project. Thankfully, Sofia Carson and Corey Mylchreest’s casting in the film helps add a lot of attention to Julia Whelan’s book of the same name, making it one of the most anticipated romance releases of the year.
However, for those who are not convinced about the impact that this film is about to have on its viewers, one comparison will be enough to leave them wrecked. Although the film seems to be deviating from the book in certain aspects, there are some aspects that are quite similar to Emilia Clarke’s Me Before You.

In the modern era of streaming services dominating the television landscape, it can be difficult to find something to watch. This is especially true if you're not one to keep up with great shows as they're airing, as many of the best binge-worthy TV shows to watch can become buried in endless libraries of content, both new and old. With Apple TV+ ruling the cultural moment with shows like "Severance" and "The Studio," you may have forgotten a time not too long ago when all the best shows were on Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon Prime Video might be a go-to streaming service when you're looking for the latest theatrical release that's hit digital, but there are also plenty of underrated TV shows on Prime Video you've probably never seen. Additionally, shows from Amazon Prime Video have also swept at the Emmys and racked up some of the highest budgets in modern-day TV.

Emilia Clarke’s controversial romantic drama, titled Me Before You, is making waves again, but this time it’s due to being one of the top trending movies on Amazon Prime Video. It’s been almost a decade since its theatrical release, but amidst all the new features, it has somehow resurfaced in the streaming spotlight.
Thea Sharrock’s directorial is an adaptation of Jojo Moyes’ eponymous best-selling novel. Clarke plays Louisa “Lou” Clark in this feature, and is paired against Sam Claflin’s Will Traynor, portrayed as a wealthy quadriplegic who decides to end his life through assisted suicide. So let’s look at how, despite a romantic premise, the 2016 movie stirred a storm of backlash.

Emilia Clarke will eternally be remembered as Daenerys Targaryen, the fierce dragon queen who broke chains and hearts in Game of Thrones. But long after the smoke has cleared over King’s Landing, Clarke’s real underdog project is unfolding on Prime Video. Me Before You is a romantic drama, released in 2016, that’s sitting on Prime’s Top 10 Worldwide charts.
It’s honestly surprising to see a soft, tearjerker love story reign on global streaming charts, almost a decade after its release. In an age of CGI-driven & fast-paced narratives, Clarke’s 2016 hit continues to dominate the romance genre. While Game of Thrones was a career-defining juggernaut, Me Before You stands as a reminder of Clarke’s depth and versatility as an actor. The film is proof that Clarke is just as entertaining to watch, even without the dragons.

Not long after he wielded Thor's hammer in the MCU, Chris Hemsworth wielded an ax in this live-action fantasy feature, The Huntsman: Winter's War. This 2016 movie received a poor reception among fans and critics during its initial release, but perhaps it is thanks to the live-action Snow White movie that made its way to Disney+ recently that this box office flop is now making the rounds on HBO Max's streaming charts.

The Great Escaper, which will premiere this fall in the U.S., tells the true story of Bernard Jordan (Caine) who made global headlines in the summer of 2014 after staging a “great escape” from his care home to join fellow war veterans on a beach in Normandy to commemorate D-Day’s 70th anniversary.
Bernie’s adventure that spanned a mere 48 hours also marked the culmination of his 60-year marriage to Rene (Jackson). The Great Escaper celebrates their enduring love but always with an eye to the lessons we might learn from the Greatest Generation.
From Pathé and BBC Films, The Great Escaper is an Ecosse Film production made in co-production with Film I Väst and Filmgate Films.

If you have been a fan of Kaley Cuoco since meeting her on 8 Simple Rules or The Big Bang Theory, you're going to be over the moon about the latest news about the Emmy-nominated star's next television role. Following the unfortunate cancellation of her underrated Peacock comedy-mystery series Based on a True Story, Cuoco has already set her next project at Amazon.
Back in March, Cuoco boarded the mystery thriller series Vanished, and the series officially has a release window and a streaming home. On May 6, Deadline reported that Amazon officially picked up the rights to the new series in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Prime Video will release the series in 2026.
Obviously, there's a glaring omission in the territories where Amazon snagged the rights. What about the United States? That hasn't been announced quite yet, but it's extremely likely that Vanished will wind up...

Stars Who Almost Made It To Game Of Thrones ( Photo Credit – Instagram )
Game of Thrones has become so iconic that it’s nearly impossible to picture it with any other actors than the ones we know and love. Emilia Clarke’s fiery Daenerys and Lena Headey’s cold-as-ice Cersei are ingrained in our minds, but the casting process was far from straightforward. Before the show became the global sensation we know, several Hollywood A-listers nearly joined the cast, some even auditioning for key roles that would eventually make history.
Imagine a world where Mahershala Ali almost played a Qarthian merchant or Sam Heughan wasn’t swinging a sword in Outlander but instead vying for a role in Westeros! While many could have fit in seamlessly, others missed their shot, leaving us to wonder, what could have been? Let’s look at these 10 actors who almost made it into the world of Game of Thrones.

Ana de Armas is willing to put her hat in the ring for the Evelyn Hugo film adaptation.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, de Armas confirmed that she is aware of the fan interest in her playing the title character in The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, the upcoming Netflix adaptation of author Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling 2017 novel.
“I heard that, yeah,” she told Et.
When asked if she’d be willing to take a break from action films to star in a role like Evelyn Hugo, the actress said, “I think one of the things I love about acting and my career is to be able to do everything. You have to try all the things you can. You can’t just always eat the same thing.”
