Harry Vanderspeigle is back with a new alien threat, hilarious antics, feel-good drama, and ten all-new episodes in Resident Alien Season 4. Created by Chris Sheridan, the Syfy and now USA Network series is based on a comic book of the same name created by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse.

Season 4 of Resident Alien continues the story of Harry Vanderspeigle after he was taken prisoner by the Greys in the Season 3 finale. With a fake Harry in Patience threatening the lives of the people Harry loves, he and Bridgette must find their way back to Earth and continue fighting against the aliens who are threatening to destroy the world.

USA and Syfy announced premiere dates for the new season of Resident Alien starring Alan Tudyk and the series premiere of Revival. Fans will get to catch up with their favorite visitor from outer space when Resident Alien returns for season four on June 6, 2025 at 11pm Et/Pt on USA and Syfy. Revival, based on the Image Comics series, debuts on Syfy on June 12th at 10pm Et/Pt.

In addition to Tudyk, season four stars Sara Tomko, Alice Wetterlund, Corey Reynolds, Elizabeth Bowen, Levi Fiehler, Meredith Garretson, and Judah Prehn. Fans can finally rest easy knowing the fourth season of Alan Tudyk's sci-fi dramedy, Resident Alien, is returning. The show faced a grim future after Season 3, but its fate changed. Syfy has set the return date for June 6. The new season also sees a slight release change. New episodes will be simulcast on two NBCUniversal networks, with USA Network joining Syfy to get the show in front of viewers. This was one of the compromises made to ensure the show returns for another season, apart from the budget cuts that were instituted. Apart from the live airing, new episodes will be available to stream on Peacock a week after their on-air debut. NBCUniversal has announced that Resident Alien Season 4 will premiere on Friday, June 6 at 11 p.m. Et/Pt on both USA and Syfy, while the series premiere of the comic adaptation Revival debuts on Thursday, June 12 at 10 p.m. on Syfy.

The episodes from both series will be available to stream on Peacock one week after they air on USA and Syfy.

Based on the Dark Horse comics, Resident Alien follows a crash-landed alien named Harry and his life on planet Earth. The fourth season starts with Harry and his baby, Bridget, stuck in prison on the Grey Moonbase, while a shape-shifting Alien called a Mantid has taken over his body on Earth, passing himself off as the real Harry Vanderspeigle.

Harry manages to escape the Greys and arrives back on Earth for a showdown with the Mantid Alien, but soon finds he may not have what he needs to finish the job.

Almost a year after Resident Alien moved from Syfy to NBCUniversal sibling USA Network with a suspenseful Season 4 renewal, a premiere date has been set for said Season 4 and, surprisingly, it involves both the sci-fi comedy-drama’ new and old homes.

The new season of Resident Alien will debut June 6 as a simulcast on USA and Syfy. The decision to keep the show on Syfy in addition to its USA run reportedly came in the months following the Season 4 renewal. Also today, Syfy announced a June 12 premiere for its new scripted series Revival, headlined by Wynonna Earp star Melanie Scrofano. Episodes of Resident Alien and Revival — both based on comics — will be available on Peacock a week after they premiere on the linear networks.

Apple TV+ wants more of the sci-fi thriller Invasion and has picked up the series from Simon Kinberg (the Deadpool films) and David Weil (Hunters) for a third season.

Commenting on the third season renewal order, creator/executive producer Kinberg stated: “I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to do with our first two seasons of the show with our partners at Apple TV+ and our cast and crew. Apple TV+ will continue its intergalactic expansion: the streamer has announced a Season 3 renewal for its global hit “Invasion.”

The same week the season finale aired, it was announced that a second season of the show had been ordered. Invasion season 2 finally made its way to the screen in August of 2023 and wrapped up in October. It’s taken them a while, but Apple TV+ has now officially confirmed that they’ve renewed Invasion for season 3. The new batch of episodes are expected to begin filming later this month.
