Ashlee Buchanan

Ashlee Buchanan was born in Portland, Oregon, lived in Washington state and was raised outside of Sacramento in El Dorado Hills, California. Her first love was gymnastics and her career spanned 13 years over her childhood, but she retired her leotard for the stage when she was in high school. She starred in numerous stage and dance productions and was on her high school's competitive cheerleading team.

She began her career on the cult TV series Veronica Mars while she attended San Diego State University. She has a BA in Journalism, a minor in Theatre and has also studied at Upright Citizens Brigade School of Improv in Hollywood. She is part of a female forward production company, Be Free Films, and is one of the main producers and is part of the casting department for the company.
