Angela Christofilou, both from Lancashire, England, and Athens, Greece, is a London-based actress, voice-over artist, singer-songwriter, and photographer, bilingual with an English mother and a Greek father. She trained at the Athens Conservatoire before playing lead roles in Greek TV series, such as Mia Stigmi 2 Zoes (Mega Channel, 130 episodes), straight after graduating. Additionally, she participated in theatre productions, including devised and experimental performances, and took part as a priestess for an Olympic flame event in Athens. Angela also began her voice-over career in 2006 in Greece, voicing Gloria in the Greek dubbed version of the Academy Award-winning animation Happy Feet.
Later, she permanently moved to London and began working in the UK, where she still lives and works, voicing lead parts in video games including Assassin's Creed Mirage, Odyssey, and Origins, as well as documentaries and numerous audio-books, animation, TV and radio commercials, and charity campaigns. She also played Katherine in a four-month no.1 tour with New York theatre company Aquila in the US, in a modern, updated take on Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew and secured various roles in short films, theatre, and music videos.
Taking a break from acting for a few years, Angela focused on activism and photography, specifically protest and documentary photography. Her work has been featured in exhibitions, books, magazines, and documentaries, with a focus on collaborating with social movements, human rights organizations, and community documentary storytelling to raise awareness for causes through photography.
Returning to acting in recent years, Angela has appeared in feature films such as Sky Peals (Venice Film Festival '23), TV commercials, and independent short films. Angela also makes music, having recorded an album and EP with the band Field Trip to the Moon. She is now working on new music as a solo artist.
