Silicon Valley signed off in December 2019, but some of us are not quite over the chaos, camaraderie, and brilliance the show delivered for five seasons. The HBO comedy parodies the absurdities of startup culture, the ruthless tech world, and the bizarre personalities that drive it.
At the center of it all is Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch), a computer programmer who starts a tech company named Pied Piper. Silicon Valley sheds light on his struggles as a rookie startup owner as he struggles to maintain his company, while also facing strong competition from other much bigger tech companies.
From Richard Hendricks’ awkward genius to Gavin Belson’s corporate nonsense, the show...

Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch remake emerged as a major box office hit, and its success means that 2014’s Big Hero Six could be perfect for the studio’s next live-action adaptation. Following the success of the 2025 movie, Disney must be looking for another beloved animated IP to remake, and the 11-year-old masterpiece could be a strong choice.
Lilo & Stitch grossed $1.032 billion globally (via The Numbers), proving that Disney’s formula of turning popular animated movies into live-action blockbusters had not gone stale. As a result, Big Hero 6 would be the perfect choice for a live-action remake, and here’s how it can shake up Disney’s formula...

While Ryan Reynolds may look like the most easy to work with on set, his co-actor from the 2000 horror/comedy film Boltneck, Matthew Lawrence, paints a completely different picture way before the Doomsday clash rumor. On an episode of the Brotherly Love Podcast, the star opened up about how it was taking a lot of time for the producers and director to get his act right and make him understand his job, saying:
The production team was having a really hard time with Ryan. And this is young Ryan. I had grown up in the industry, so I knew my way around the set by that point. I was dialed in.

Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson allegedly had it out for each other before the recent rumors that he fought with Robert Downey Jr. on the sets of Avengers: Doomsday. The Rock and Reynolds appeared together in the 2021 film, Red Notice. During this time, a fight broke out between the two A-listers on the set of the movie (via TMZ).
It was reported that Johnson’s attitude while filming didn’t sit well with Reynolds. The reports suggested that Johnson would arrive on set very late, often seven to eight hours late. This forced the crew to reschedule the filming to “shoot around him”, resulting in Reynolds getting “infuriated” with his co-star.

A hacker revealed that the classic HBO comedy, Silicon Valley, was extremely accurate. Even though HBO has produced many underrated shows and series that are perfect for binging, it is impressive that the company made a show that was so technically realistic. The series follows Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch), a programmer who founds a startup company, Pied Piper, and the challenges of competing with larger entities.
Between 2014 and 2019, six seasons of the tech comedy were produced. While some Silicon Valley seasons were better than others, the show had an impressive fan following at the time. The thing that many of Silicon Valley's fans wouldn't have realized is that the show was so accurate.

Titus Welliver will always be known for playing Harry Bosch in Bosch and Bosch: Legacy, but over 10 years ago, he starred alongside Mark Wahlberg in a big-budget action thriller that’s returned to global streaming charts. Welliver and Wahlberg star alongside Stanley Tucci and Kelsey Grammer in Transformers: Age of Extinction, the fourth Transformers movie in Michael Bay’ explosive action franchise following the Autobots, who turned to a mechanic (Wahlberg) and his family for help when humanity begins hunting Optimus Prime. Transformers: Age of Extinction is currently streaming on Paramount+ in America and globally, and it’s one of the most popular movies on the platform in the United States and other countries, like France. The film earned “rotten” scores of 18% from critics and 50% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, but that didn’t stop it from grossing $1.1 billion against a $210 million budget.

The live-action remake of “How to Train Your Dragon” is here, bringing fan favorite characters to real life. But let’s not forget, the original cast was pretty stacked.
The good news for fans of the original is that the story is largely the same, staying faithful to the animated favorite thanks to Dean DeBlois returning to write and direct. It brings fans to the Isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons battle constantly — at least until one young Viking realizes maybe they shouldn’t be.
Here’s how the live-action version compares to the animated cast.

The largely forgotten 16-year-old comedy created by Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge has found newfound success on streaming.
Directed by the creator of several iconic adult cartoon series, including Beavis and Butt-Head and King of the Hill, Judge's 2009 live-action comedy film Extract has become a streaming hit. The film climbed to #2 most streamed film on Paramount+ U.S.Extract stars Jason Bateman as Joel Reynolds, the founder of a company specializing in making flavoring extracts. The film had an $8 million budget to work with and ultimately grossed $10.8 million at the global box offices. Despite the lukewarm financial success, Extract was generally positively received and currently has a 62% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Extract is a satire showing the company's questionable working conditions. When an accident results in one of Joel's employees, Dean Slade, played by Ben Affleck, losing a testicle, Cindy, a con artist played by Mila Kunis, steps in to capitalize on the incident.

Before dragons could soar onto the big screen in glorious CGI fire-breathing form, How to Train Your Dragon was just another animated underdog from DreamWorks. But then, boom, it launched one of the most emotionally rich, visually breathtaking trilogies of the 2010s.
Yep, the franchise unloaded stunning animation, tear-jerker-level storytelling, and epic soundtracks. Literally, the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy gave us heart-punching goodbyes, sky-soaring friendships, and enough flying scenes to make Pixar a little nervous.
And now? Well, the franchise has spread its wings into live-action territory. Yup, that’s right, DreamWorks has officially brought a live-action How to Train Your Dragon remake, and shockingly, it doesn’t just coast on nostalgia. It actually flies. This remake apparently honors the original’s charm while upgrading the magic for a new audience, and yes, Toothless still steals every scene.

“Every story deserves its own breath,” We’ve come to believe. And when it comes to bringing animation to live action, that breath can either be a fresh gust or a stale sigh. Dean DeBlois, the director behind How to Train Your Dragon live-action, nailed this truth when he admitted he’s never been keen on live-action remakes that feel like they’re elbowing their animated predecessors off the stage.
His vision was clear from day one: this wasn’t a replacement but an expansion. Contrast that with Disney’s Lilo & Stitch remake, which took liberties that some fans found more jarring than joyful, tweaking or even erasing key parts of what made the original beloved.

The 2025 live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon isn’t just flapping its wings; it’s practically breakdancing in the sky. With a cast so well-picked you’d think it was plucked straight from Odin’s own casting scroll, we’ve got Mason Thames, Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, and the grizzled growl of Gerard Butler once again roaring life into Stoick the Vast.
Dean DeBlois returns to the director’s chair like he never left, steering this cinematic longship back to familiar yet freshly forged lands. But let’s rewind to 2019’s How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World: the supposed final chapter. Fans sobbed. Toothless soared. Hiccup matured. All was well in Berk… or so it seemed. Behind the scenes, though, there was a storm brewing in the sound booth.
Tuffnut Thorston, that beard-braiding, half-baked twin tornado of comic chaos, sounded like his usual deranged self.

One of the biggest found-footage films of all time has a new streaming home.
2008's Cloverfield from director Matt Reeves and writer Drew Goddard has officially landed on a new streaming home. As of now, fans can catch Cloverfield in all its terrifying glory on Paramount+. Better yet, Paramount+ is also home to the first of two follow-ups to the film, 2016's 10 Cloverfield Lane directed by Dan Trachtenberg.
Directed by Reeves from a script by Goddard, Cloverfield featured a star-studded ensemble cast including Odette Yustman, Michael Stahl-David, T.J. Miller, Ben Feldman, Theo Rossi, Lizzy Caplan, Mike Vogel, and Jessica Lucas as a group of friends and party goers whose attempt to enjoy an otherwise ordinary night in New York City spirals into chaos upon the emergence of a towering monster and its carnivorous offspring. Ryan Reynolds is currently going through a lot, amid his wife, Blake Lively’s high-profile lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. It seems that whatever wrong is happening in the industry, people are quickly pointing their fingers at Reynolds. One such incident happened when Bobby Lee stirred the pot claiming how Reynolds might have been the star who was mean to Rebecca Ferguson.
Previously, during her Dune: Part Two press tour, Rebecca Ferguson appeared on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast and reflected on an emotional story with an “idiot co-star”, who tormented her on set. Thereafter, while fans began thinking of Tom Cruise and Hugh Jackman as the toxic thespian, Bobby Lee claimed with assurance that it was none other than Ryan Reynolds. But guess what? He couldn’t be more wrong.

In the grand tradition of cinematic monsters, America has given us some absolute legends: King Kong, the T-Rex from Jurassic Park, and whatever that thing was from The Mist that made everyone give up on life. But in 2008, J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Drew Goddard decided to throw their own beast into the ring with Cloverfield, a found-footage monster movie that came out of nowhere, scared the hell out of us, and left us with more questions than answers. But how did this shaky behemoth come to be? And why, after all these years, does it still stand tall (unlike most of the buildings in the film)? Grab your handheld camera, whisper cryptic things into the lens, and let’s take a deep dive into the glorious madness that is Cloverfield. And perhaps answer the biggest question of all… why is it even called Cloverfield?

Deadpool Banned Bar Scene (Photo Credit – Wikipedia)
Ryan Reynolds didn’t just push the R-rating with Deadpool, he almost obliterated it. Long before the Merc with a Mouth broke the fourth wall on screen, Reynolds and co-star T.J. Miller reportedly penned a bar scene so off-the-rails, it never even made it past the script stage.
Director Tim Miller spilled the beans in a past interview, recalling just how far the duo went in their attempt to crank up the film’s shock value. “In particular, there was a bar scene that was too vulgar for even the R-rated Deadpool,” he told Looper. That’s saying a lot, considering Deadpool already went full tilt with gore, profanity, and adult humor.
The scene in question? So explicit and offensive, it didn’t even get a rehearsal. According to Miller, the dialogue went from edgy to outright hateful as it progressed, offending “massive amounts of people.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s ongoing legal drama surrounding It Ends With Us has stirred up quite the storm, and it’s impossible to ignore the ripple effects on everyone involved. Adding an extra layer of intrigue, Blake’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, found himself caught up in the whirlwind.
What started as a dispute between Lively and Baldoni escalated when Reynolds became part of the conversation through Baldoni’s countersuit against The New York Times.

Babak Anvari is set to direct a new sequel to Cloverfield, which is reportedly a direct sequel to Matt Reeves’s original 2008 film.
In a new interview during the SXSW premiere of his latest film Hallow Road, Anvari teased the new sequel.
“So sad that I cannot because everyone on that team is very secretive, which I understand,” Anvari told Countdown City Geeks. “But whatever happens, just know that hopefully you’re going to get something amazing.”
Although Anvari didn’t disclose any details about the follow-up film, he did express his excitement about the project as “high.”
Deadline reported in December 2022 that Anvari was attached to direct the new Cloverfield movie with Joe Barton writing the script, J.J. Abrams producing for Bad Robot, along with Hannah Minghella and Jon Cohen. Bryan Burk, Matt Reeves, and Drew Goddard are also attached as executive producers.

T.J. Miller has signed on to star in the upcoming independent techno-thriller A.I. Heart U, written and directed by Jason Cook. The film, which explores artificial intelligence and its impact on human relationships, features an ensemble cast that includes Zach Gilford, Heather Morris, Kayla Compton, and Jonathan Kite.
Miller will portray Marco, an eccentric AI tech partner, in what the filmmaker describes as a cautionary tale about artificial intelligence. “This is a cautionary tale about AI, but framing it as a tool, not an inherent evil. This is a story about a bad guy enabled by AI, kinda like Faust,” Cook said.
The project is being produced by Cook alongside Trent Garret under their newly formed Blue Collar Productions. A.I. Heart U is the first of four planned films in a fully funded slate from the company. The production has been underway in Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon.

Justin Baldoni's media team will have to come up with some stronger hit pieces if they think they can weasel their way out of this current PR disaster.
As every gossip outlet in the English language continues to proclaim in explosive headlines designed to make heads spin in the check-out line, the It Ends with Us star and director is currently embroiled in the most high-profile celebrity feud with former co-star Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds since Bette Davis and Joan Crawford turned the set of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? into a war zone. Ryan Reynolds has certainly seen a change in the public’s opinion of him in the past few months in light of Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. Many have started to alienate him from the rest of the industry, and he has certainly seen a dip in the romantic image that he created over his entire career. However, it wasn’t too long ago that he was enforcing the world’s perception of an actor into his professional life.

Tj Miller was quite a beloved part of the first two Deadpool films. Playing the role of The Weasel in the films, he was Deadpool’s best friend and stood with him through quite a lot of conflict. Unfortunately, after the actor got accused of s*xual misconduct and found himself in legal trouble, his role was quickly removed from the films.

Here’s a Hollywood clash that got its sequel—a real-life one. Deadpool star T.J. Miller once publicly called out Ryan Reynolds for being “horrifically mean” on set, leaving fans wondering if the duo’s banter in the Marvel flicks hid some behind-the-scenes tension. But fast forward, and the drama seems to have wrapped with an unexpectedly heartfelt twist.
It all started in 2022 when Miller, known for playing the snarky Weasel in Deadpool and Deadpool 2, revealed during The Adam Carolla Show that Reynolds had been unusually harsh to him while filming. Recounting a particular incident, he said Reynolds, in character as Deadpool, made cutting remarks like, “You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.” Ouch. Tim Miller revealed how much he made as the director of 2016’s Deadpool, his feature film directorial debut.
The filmmaker said in a new interview that it wasn’t “profitable” being a first-time director making the superhero movie starring Ryan Reynolds, despite the massive success the Marvel Comics-based film had.
“You guys might not know, but it’s not really a profitable thing to be a first-time director in Hollywood, and I’ll tell you exactly,” Miller told Collider. “I got $225,000 to direct Deadpool. I know it sounds like a lot of money, but for two years of work, that’s not a ton of money.”
He continued, “Not that I’m not grateful, I’m fucking grateful, that’s the way it is because you’re supposed to when you’re a first-time director. My agent said ‘Dude, you make more on an episode of The Walking Dead!

Because sometimes, Christmas movies are better with a little adult fun.
Everyone loves a wholesome Christmas movie… but if you’re looking for something that goes a little harder (like the rum in your eggnog), there are plenty of adult comedy Christmas movies to check out. I’m talking f-bomb dropping, alcohol drinking, and club-dancing adult fun. So, what’s the best streamer for that kind of holiday? The answer is two-fold. The best free streamer for adult comedy holiday movies is definitely Tubi, while my paid streamer pick is Paramount+, both with different offerings. Here’s what you need to know to have an adult laugh this holiday season.
Everything you need to know about the best streamers for adult comedy Christmas movies:
What popular adult comedy Christmas movies can you watch on Tubi?
What holiday adult comedy movies does Paramount+ offer?
What other adult comedy Christmas movies are out there?...

Ryan Reynolds certainly knows how to get the internet talking. Just when everyone thinks that Deadpool & Wolverine chatter has dwindled away, the master of self-promotion does something like share a video of himself in full Deadpool costume standing on a set alongside Santas sleigh. Like that is not going to lead to many questions that no one yet knows the answer to.
With Deadpool & Wolverine now topping the Disney+ chart, after topping the box office and pretty much every other chart that it was relevant to, fans have been desperate to know where and when the Merc with the Mouth will be bringing his sweary, R-rated antics back to the MCU again. While Kevin Feige encouragingly if annoyingly vaguely made a note ahead of this years D23 Brazil event that Marvel Studios is always considering where both Deadpool and his Adamantium-clawed buddy can make their next appearance in the franchise,...

A great movie musical can truly stand the test of time, although thats only if audiences actually want the movie to be a musical, unlike what happened with the highly divisive release of Joker: Folie Deux. The commercial failure of Joker: Folie Deux proved that not all viewers will respond well to a musical movie sequel and that this is a major risk with a significant chance of backfiring. With this in mind, its interesting to note the movies that would benefit from the musical sequel and imagine how they could successfully carry forward the series' legacy.
The best movie musicals have earned their way into the hearts of viewers who connect deeply with over-the-top theatrical narrative, beautiful renditions of heartwarming ballads, and magnificently choreographed dance routines of awe-inspiring wonder. Turning a non-musical movie into a musical for its sequel wont work with every release, but if they could pull it off,...

T.J. Miller wants to return to the Deadpool franchise, and now has a very different opinion of star Ryan Reynolds after previously calling him an "insecure dude" and vowing that he would "not work with him again."
Miller played Weasel in the first two movies, but allegations of sexual assault back in 2017 along with accusations of bullying one of his co-stars on the Silicon Valley TV series pretty much derailed his career.

You're not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it's funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.'"

T.J. Miller was quietly taken out of the “Deadpool” movies after facing several sexual assault accusations, which he denied. However, these claims hurt his career and caused issues for Fox at the time.
On top of that, Miller had a public falling-out with Ryan Reynolds. He said Reynolds didn’t like him, treated him poorly on set, and let fame get to his head.
“As the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me. But to me. As if I’m Weasel. He was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.’ (…) That’s exactly why he said that. Because I’m not funnier than he is at all, right? And I haven’t been in more movies than him. (…)

As a reminder, T.J. Miller was quietly removed from the “Deadpool” movies due to a series of sexual assault allegations, which he denied but that significantly impacted his career and posed a problem for Fox at the time.
While these allegations alone might have been enough for his departure, Miller also had a public feud with Ryan Reynolds. He claimed that Reynolds disliked him, had verbally abused him on set, and that the actor’s fame had gone to his head:

T.J. Miller is open to returning to the Deadpool universe with Ryan Reynolds after previously publicly stating that he would never work with the actor again.
While a fourth film in the franchise hasn’t been confirmed, a follow-up to Deadpool & Wolverine seems like a sure thing following the film’s box office success. And the Silicon Valley alum is open to reprising his character Weasel in another sequel should it come to fruition.
“We talked a little while ago,” Miller said on SiriusXM’s The Bonfire about his relationship with Reynolds. “I think him asking me, I think he’s just been such a good friend right now that I think it would be really, I think that would be awesome.”
The actor played Weasel, Reynolds’ Wade Wilson’s best friend, in 2016’s Deadpool and 2018’s Deadpool 2. However, he didn’t return for Deadpool & Wolverine, which starred Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

T.J. Miller wants to return to the Deadpool universe in a potential fourth installment, but only if Ryan Reynolds asks.
In a new interview, the Silicon Valley alum said he would be open to reprising his role in a new sequel to the Marvel Studios movie.
“We talked a little while ago,” Miller said on SiriusXM’s The Bonfire about maintaining contact with Reynolds. “I think him asking me, I think he’s just been such a good friend right now that I think it would be really, I think that would be awesome.”
Miller played the role of Weasel in the 2016 film directed by Tim Miller. Weasel is Reynolds’ Wade Wilson’s best friend. The actor reprised his role in 2018’s Deadpool 2 but did not participate in 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine.
Miller has faced multiple problems over the years, including sexual assault accusations and an arrest for making a bomb threat.

After appearing in the first two Deadpool movies, T.J. Miller did not return for this year's Deadpool & Wolverine. This was no surprise, as Miller had previously spoken about an apparent falling out he'd had with Ryan Reynolds.
In a new interview for Sirius Xm's The Bonfire (per EW), Miller shared that he recently spoke with Reynolds. While Miller did not share any additional details about that conversation, it's a promising sign for the two actors becoming friends again after they went their separate ways after Deadpool 2. Though Miller had believed he'd never return as Weasel in any new Deadpool movies, he now says it'd be "awesome" to come back for something like Deadpool 4, but it would be up to Reynolds to give him that call.
