A graduate of the first generation of the CasAzul acting school, Mario has built an extensive theater career with over forty stage productions.
He possesses an impressive improvisation skillset, which he has honed and applied in various groups such as Liga Mexicana de Improvisación, Complot Escena, and Improsport.
On television, he participated as both writer and actor in the show El Informal, as well as in productions like El alma herida, Los Sánchez, La loba, and the series Drenaje Profundo. In film, he has appeared in feature films such as El que busca encuentra, Solteras, and Cindy la Regia. He is also the author of the anti-Christmas monologues Dios de porcelana fría and Plan proyecto de regeneración espiritual navideña Dickens, both directed by Angélica Rogel and presented at Teatro La Capilla, as well as the solo show Abrazar al panda.
Currently, he can be seen in Crime Diaries: The Paulette Case (Historia de un Crimen: Caso Paulette) on Netflix, the Lemon Films TV series Como tú no hay dos, Amazon Prime's How to Survive Being Single (Cómo sobrevivir soltero), and Bunker on HBO.
Most recently, he premiered in El gallo de oro and El profe infiltrado, playing the role of Delgado-both for VIX Originals. He will soon appear in Buenos Tiempos from Vix and in 90 Minutos for Amazon, directed by Joe Rendón, in a leading role as "El Gama."
