Chadd Smith

‘Step Up 5: All In’ Review
Stars: Ryan Guzman, Briana Evigan, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Misha Gabriel, Izabella Miko, Alyson Stoner, Adam Sevani, Stephen ‘Stev-o’ Jones, David ‘Kid David’ Shreibman, Mari Koda, Christopher Scott, Luis ‘Luigi’ Rosado, Chadd Smith, Facundo Lombard, Martín Lombard, Cyrus ‘Glitch’ Spencer | Written by John Swetnam | Directed by Trish Sie

Guilty Pleasure. It’s a term I dislike immensely. Why feel guilty about enjoying anything? If you like some, you like something, end of. Another reason I dislike the term guilty pleasure is because the term, at least in movie-related circles, has become synonymous with any movie that is hailed as worthy of critical discussion. Adam Sandler movies are guilty pleasures. The Fast & Furious franchise is (apparently) considered guilty pleasures by some. F that. I like Adam Sandler’s movies, I like the Fast & Furious movies (hell, I’d even go and say I love those!).

But what does that have to do...

Splc pressures Amazon to drop Boy Scouts, Louis Smith praises Tom Daley, Katy Perry has seen Kacey Musgraves naked

Speaking at the Hay Festival, Jennifer Saunders confirms that she’s working on an Absolutely Fabulous movie for release sometime in 2015. “I am writing the film as we speak – it’s in the pipeline. I am hoping it will be released by the end of next year.” The paper notes that Chris Colfer is expected to be among the stars in the film, but doesn’t attribute that to Saunders, so it could just be their Twitter exchange a couple of months ago.

After Amazon said that they wouldn’t drop the Boy Scouts of America from their charitable giving program because banned organizations were picked from the Splc’s hate groups list, the Splc has written a letter to Amazon about why they should drop the Scouts. “But the lack...

Watch the First 3 Minutes of "Step Up Revolution"
No matter what critics may say about the Step Up series (and usually it's not good) it has the tenacity of a cockroach thanks in large part to the tendency of teenagers to lay down money to watch anything that has guys and girls in tight clothes and a Top 40 soundtrack. The fact that there's also lots of dancing only sweetens the deal. Step Up Revolution is the fourth installment in the popular dance movie series and stars alumni of popular TV dance shows like So You Think You Can Dance, The Lxd, and others. Among them are Chadd Smith, Mia Michaels, Kathryn McCormick, and Ryan Guzman as well as a number of returning faces from previous Step Up movies.

Step Up Revolution hops its way into theaters on July 27th and to hype up that aforementioned fanbase they've released the first three minutes.

Honestly, that's all Summer 2012 needs in order to be one for the history books. Even then, there's still more than enough films to warrant your attention this summer. To help you sort through them all, we've once again compiled all the most interesting films of the season into four easy to read, informative guides. For the next four days, we'll take you on a journey through the best cinema has to offer in Summer 2012. Welcome to our Summer 2012 Movie Guide! Today's guide will focus on the month of July,...

Yea, it's exciting. The obviously beautiful-looking cast this time includes Kathryn McCormick, Ryan Guzman, Stephen Boss, Chadd Smith and Megan Boone. Have fun! Watch the first official trailer for Scott Speer's Step Up Revolution, in high def on YouTube: "It's more than a step, it's a revolution!" Blu-Ray Review: ‘Step Up 3’ Delivers Exactly What it Promises
Chicago – “Step Up 3” is not a film so much as a slickly photographed collage of superbly performed dance sequences. Its structure harkens back to the golden age of screen musicals where the plot merely functioned as an intermission between numbers. There’s no need to visit the previous “Step Up” installments before stepping into this one, since their plots are more or less identical.

“SU3” merely aspires to entertain by utilizing the human body as its central special effect. The result is an irresistible burst of spirit-lifting escapism that sends the audience out on a wave of good feeling. Though the film’s acclaimed 3D visuals are available on a separate Blu-Ray edition, the stellar HD picture quality on the 2D version is second to none, while Ken Seng’s cinematography places the performers front and center, providing viewers with what feels like the best seat in the house.

‘The Lxd’ Season 2 ‘Secrets of the Ra’ Premieres October 27
The first of three 10-episode chapters of The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers premiered on Hulu July 7, 2010. It did well. Turns out humans really enjoy watching unrealistically coordinated teen and twentysomethings manipulate and contort their bodies in unbelievable ways to hip-hop driven beats while acting out superhuman creation myths. Directed by Jon M. Chu (Step Up 3-D, Step Up 2: The Streets), produced by Agility Studios, and distributed by Paramount Digital Entertainment, the original web series is the most successful one of its kind.
