Also this spring, Hrishikesh Hirway of Song Exploder releases a new conversational series, Key Change, and Normal Gossip from Defector Media will be hosted by Rachelle Hampton. The fifth episode of White Lotus’ season three has shocked audiences with an incestuous kiss between brothers Saxon (played by Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Lachlan (Sam Nivola).

Announced last year, Spider-Man 4 is officially in development, though details remain scarce. What has been confirmed is that Tom Holland and Zendaya will reprise their roles, with Destin Daniel Cretton set to direct.

Before the film’s confirmation, reports suggested Marvel Studios was torn between two potential directions: a Multiversal storyline continuing from No Way Home or a grounded, street-level narrative featuring Daredevil and Kingpin.

However, after Robert Downey Jr. was confirmed to return to the MCU as Doctor Doom, Marvel Studios reportedly decided to pursue the Multiversal storyline.

Since development was confirmed, speculation about potential villains has been nonstop. Rumors have linked the film to various iconic foes, including Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Knull, Vulture, and more from Spider-Man’s legendary rogues’ gallery.

Well, that was fast! After only three days since its March 4 premiere on Netflix, the streamer announced on March 7 that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex will be back with With Love, Meghan season 2.

Since the unscripted lifestyle series is so young, Netflix doesn't have any viewership figures to tout to backup its quick renewal, but that's no matter. With Love, Meghan season 2 has already completed filming and will be released sometime in fall 2025.

The first season contains eight episodes that range between 28 to 41 minutes and the second season will likely follow suit with the same structure, though Netflix hasn't yet confirmed the episode count. With Love, Meghan features the former Suits star bringing famous friends to an estate in Los Angeles to share meals, hosting tips, and more.

Some astute fans of Elsbeth, CBS' quirky police procedural comedy / drama that stars Carrie Preston as the title character, think a famous director may have had an uncredited cameo. In the episode, which is titled Scenes From an Italian Restaurant, unconventional attorney Elsbeth Tascioni is trying to solve an old Mafia murder. She watches a fictional film about the show, City on a Knife Edge, and listens to director Francis Martino's commentary. And it appears none other than David Fincher was playing the voice of Martino.

Elsbeth is a spinoff of two popular CBS shows, The Good Wife (2009 to 2016), and The Good Fight (2017 to 2022), which featured Preston as Tascioni. The first season premiered on CBS on Feb. 29, 2024 and was quickly renewed for a second season by Apr. 2024. Daredevil: Born Again premiered Tuesday night in the form of two episodes. It continues the story of Netflix’s Daredevil and even brings back pretty much all of the original cast. But really, Lumon Industries faked her death and has been holding her in the bowels of the Lumon building, using severance technology on her many, many times and performing experiments on her.

The exact nature of those experiments remains mysterious; Gemma has to go into a variety of rooms. In each room, a different one of her many severed personalities — or Innies — takes over. Pretty much all the rooms involve her doing something unpleasant, like going to the dentist or writing thank-you notes. Theoretically, the “Mad Max” film franchise isn’t going to end with “Furiosa,” as directly George Miller confirmed this week in an interview with Vulture that he already as a script for a new movie.

But before you get your hopes up, Miller made it clear this hypothetical movie isn’t a priority for him at the moment and might never actually get made.

The comments came as part of a lengthy interview that eventually discussed the disappointing financial performance of last year’s “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” a prequel to “Mad Max: Fury Road” that earned just $173.8 million on a budget of $168 million.

Following his 2015 franchise reboot Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and last year’s Furiosa prequel, the Oscar winner recently revealed he has another installment he’d like to make “if for whatever reason the planets align,” but he has a few other projects on deck.

“We’ve got another script,” he told Vulture of his Mad Max plans. “But having been doing this long enough where I’m habituated to storytelling, I find myself with way too many stories — not only in my head, but in the form of screenplays or at least very detailed notes that are within reach of screenplays. I’m a professional daydreamer, really. This was seen as my big deficit as a kid: ‘George would do better at school if he didn’t daydream so much’ was on my report card.”

Earlier this week the world received the sad news that beloved Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl actress Michelle Trachtenberg was found dead in her home at just 39 years old. Her passing prompted an outpouring of support from those that knew her best, and the fans who had grown up with her thanks to such films as Harriet the Spy and EuroTrip. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has earned a bit of fame for creating memorable superheroes with profound arcs while leaving the villains on the sidelines.

Sure, Thanos, Loki, The Vulture, and The Kingpin are a few exceptions (though audiences witnessed the origin of the latter in a Netflix series instead of a Disney project). However, more often than not, the antagonists act as a one-and-done with no major arc or character development in sight.

For the millions of people who haven’t even heard of the movies nominated for Best Picture this year, there’s still a very good reason to watch the Academy Awards: comedy.

After all, this year’s ceremony will be hosted by none other than Conan O’Brien, who previously hosted the Emmys, the MTV Awards, the NFL Honors, and, of course, the esteemed Audiencey Awards.

We also just learned who will be writing this year’s ceremony. In addition to several names that may or not be pseudonyms for Bruce Vilanch, the team includes comedian Carol Leifer. While she’s written for hit shows like Saturday Night Live, Modern Family, The Larry Sanders Show, and most recently, Hacks, a lot of us first became aware of her because of Seinfeld.

Leifer was Emmy-nominated for her work on Seinfeld, writing six episodes (and working as a story editor on dozens more), including classics like “The Rye.

After two incredible debut episodes, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man quickly positioned itself as one of the best Disney Plus animated shows ever created. Its story re-imagines the wall-crawler in a way that faithfully honors the original Stan Lee and Steve Ditko version of the character while giving it some unique twists of its own along the way. Fans finally got what they wanted to see for a while now: A hero who looks out for the little guy.

Unlike its Marvel Cinematic Universe counterpart, this new iteration of Peter Parker never got the chance to meet fan-favorite characters such as Mj or Ned Leeds. Furthermore, Iron Man never entered the picture to teach the superpowered teenager how to be a hero, and the Vulture hasn't had the chance to cause any trouble (for the time being).

With so many conflicting reports and rumors relating to Spider-Man 4 doing the rounds over the past few weeks, it's difficult to get a read on exactly what's going on with the project, but several different sources have claimed that - for whatever reason - the story still hasn't come together.

The script is believed to be undergoing a major overhaul, possibly due to differences of opinion between star Tom Holland and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige, and last we heard, the movie was still a long way from starting production because there isn’t a finalized shooting draft yet.

Scooper Daniel Richtman has now shared an update, and he believes that the script is still being worked on. He also claims that the most recent version of the story - prior to the rewrites - included two classic Spidey villains in Shocker and Scorpion.

After some speculation online, Adrien Brody is setting the record the straight that he was not banned from “Saturday Night Live” after his controversial monologue during which he attempted a Jamaican accent to introduce reggae musician Sean Paul.

While chatting with Vulture, “The Brutalist” star said “SNL” never formally banned him, but mentioned that the sketch comedy series hasn’t offered him an invitation back.

“I also have never been invited back on,” Brody said. “So I don’t know what to tell you.”

Brody’s remarks come the infamous performance cycled through everyone’s social media algorithms over the weekend, with some stating the actor was banned from the show because he went “off-script.”

Based on his Best Actor win for The Brutalist at last night’s Golden Globe Awards, Adrien Brody might be on his way to a second Oscar. But no matter how many prestigious trophies he piles up on the mantle, it’s unlikely that he’ll ever win the forgiveness of SNL producer Lorne Michaels, who allegedly put the actor on the show’s unofficial banned list back in 2003.

Several bird-themed heroes have been introduced to the MCU over the years, including the likes of Sam Wilson's Falcon, Adrian Toomes' Vulture and Clint Barton's Hawkeye. Joaquín Torres will suit up as the new Falcon in Captain America: Brave New World, but one recent bird-themed hero makes me think his future in the MCU will be far more unusual than his predecessor's.

Spider-Man has had three incredible live-action iterations in the Marvel Universe, and especially amidst recent reports, I desperately need Sam Raimi's Spider-Man sequel dream to be achieved with the MCU Tom Holland films. While some heroes and characters have a limited scope and little potential for subsequent sequels, there is still a great deal of story with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker to be told. Amidst the rumored Spider-Man 4 titles, there are so many directions that his character could go, and I'd honestly like to see all of them.

Andrew Garfield had only two Spider-Man films, while Tobey Maguire had three.
