Remy Blumenfeld is one of the most recognized executives and content
creators on the international scene, having founded two successful
International Production Companies and most recently built and driven
ITV's Global Formats division to record results in his time there. He
is responsible for the birth and successful global roll out of many
successful and universally appealing formats through his ability to
identify key trends, attract, structure and motivate creative teams,
and exploit rights widely through his strong relationships with the
international TV community. In October 2010, Remy was named by his
peers as one of the world's top 5 Format Kings at MIP-COM.
Remy was educated at Bedales School in Hampshire and attended the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. He has also worked with the faculty of the London Business School on a summer programme in Entrepreneurship and has led seminars on creativity for Cap Gemini University. He is involved with The Terrence Higgins Trust, the John Soane Museum and is a voting member of BAFTA. In his spare time Remy has executive produced several short feature films and stage productions including Julie Burchill is Away, Eunuch's In My Wardrobe and Smalltime Revolutionary.
