Aespa
Since its debut on November 17th, 2020 with its debut single hit "Black Mamba", Aespa has become the biggest South Korean girl group in the world, becoming an inspirational blueprint in both K-pop and other industries- especially in graphic design, photography, and the fashion industry. Formed by the famous Korean entertainment industry known as SM Entertainment, the group consisted of four members.: NingNing, Giselle, Winter, and Karina. The group is renowned for bringing hyperpop music to the K-pop scene and popularizing the idea of the metaverse.

On November 17, 2020, Aespa made their music debut with the single "Black Mamba". With 21.4 million views in a single day, the song's music video became the most-viewed debut video for a K-pop group. "Next Level," their second single, was widely successful commercially when it was released in May 2021 and peaked at number two on the K-pop Hot 100 and Circle Digital Chart. Numerous honors and Daesang awards were bestowed upon it, including Song of the Year at the 2021 Melon Music Awards and the 19th Korean Music Awards. Aespa released their lead single, "Savage," and their first extended play (EP) in October 2021. Aespa released their lead single, "Savage," and their first extended play (EP) in October 2021. The EP became the best-selling debut album by an SM Entertainment act at the time, selling 787,600 copies; the latter became Aespa's first top-40 entry on the Billboard Global 200 and their second top-five song in South Korea. Their second EP, "Girls", was released in July 2022. It peaked at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart and sold 1,850,993 copies. In May 2023, the group released their third EP, "My World," which went on to become the second best-selling album by a K-pop girl group with 2.1 million sales.

All four members of the group, ae-Karina, æ-Winter, æ-Giselle, and æ-NingNing, have a virtual counterpart that exists in a different dimension called the FLAT. Called "æs" (pronounced like "eyes"), they are essentially the online avatars of Aespa, generated from all the data that members have uploaded to the internet. With Aespa now at the forefront of SM's extensive world-building, this is the NU-EVO (that's "new evolution")
