Margaret Cho Joins The Helpsters For An Anniversary Gift [Exclusive Clip]

Screen Rant is proud to present an exclusive clip from the third season of the Apple TV+ series Helpsters. The series follows Cody and the Helpsters, a group of vibrant, multicolored monsters. The group is made up of problem solvers who adore a multitude of activities, including mountain climbing, magic tricks, and more, as long as they begin with a plan.

Helpsters has been nominated for multiple Daytime Emmy Awards and has received the Parents’ Choice Gold Medal Award and the Common Sense Media Award. The new season has an impressive line-up of guests to keep the Helpsters engaged and busy. The Helpsters was created by Tim McKeon and is produced by Sesame Workshop and Big Indie Pictures. Season three of The Helpsters premiers on Apple TV+ on January 6.

In today’s TV news roundup, Netflix revealed the premiere date and trailer for “The Serpent,” and Apple TV Plus announced the streaming premiere date for “It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown.”

Netflix announced that crime drama “The Serpent” will premiere on April 2. Inspired by real events set in the 1970s, the limited series tells the story of the merciless killer Charles Sobhraj (Tahar Rahim) and his girlfriend Marie-Andrée Leclerc (Jenna Coleman), who prey on tourists exploring the “hippie trail” in South Asia. When Sobhraj becomes the chief suspect in a series of murders of young Western travelers, it’s up to Herman Knippenberg (Billy Howle), a Dutch diplomat in Bangkok, to investigate the spree of crimes. Crash & Bernstein: Season Two Starts October 7th
Disney Xd has announced that season two of Crash & Bernstein will begin airing on Monday, October 7th, at 7:30pm.

The popular kids' sitcom will kick off with a special one-hour episode and viewers will be invited to cast their vote to choose Crash's nose. Disney Xd renewed the program back in April.

Created by Eric Friedman, Crash & Bernstein revolves around a 12-year-old boy named Wyatt (Cole Jensen) who has three sisters. He wishes that he had a brother and a puppet he created, Crash (Tim Lagasse), comes to life as his sibling.

Other castmembers include Oana Gregory, Aaron R. Landon, Mary Birdsong, Mckenna Grace, and Danny Woodburn.

Scoot over Pinocchio. More Crash, more Bernstein and more laughs are coming your way thanks to Disney Xd‘s decision to renew the “breakout comedy” Crash & Bernstein for a 2nd season. We have the details.

The kid’s show Crash & Bernstein only just began its first season last fall. The fun series follows the misadventures of Wyatt Bernstein, a young man who is 12 years of age and lives with three sisters. When he wishes for a brother, he gets his wish come true as a “Build-a-Bestie” puppet comes to life. Hijinks most definitely ensue. Does it remind anyone else of Calvin and Hobbs? Wyatt is acted by Cole Jensen and the series is created by Eric Friedman. Its executive-produced by Friedman, Mike Larsen, Jim Armogida and Steve Armogida.

Exclusive: Boy-centric Disney Xd has picked up to series Crash and Bernstein, a live-action comedy with puppetry. The multicamera show, created by Eric Friedman (Disney Xd’s I’m In The Band), centers on 14-year-old Wyatt Bernstein, the only son among four kids, who finally gets his dream of having a loud-mouthed brother when his puppet, Crash, comes to life. That’s A Rapp: ‘Exit Row’ Won’t Make You Hate It
You can blame Bernie Su for the new, improved (?) and fantastically terrible punny title for my web series review column. However, he knows what he’s doing with pliers and a sledgehammer, so I’d just not make a federal case of it. I am not the biggest fan of puppets, but I would not go so far as to say that puppets and I have a dislike of one another. When done right, a puppet act can showcase brilliance to a universal audience. But often what happens is: The novelty of having cute-looking inanimate objects talk about shocking things wears thin quickly, The use of puppets try to take the focus away from weakly written humor, or It’s just made for a very narrow audience, and was never meant to appeal to me, anyway. 2010 Plastic Paper: Official Lineup
Plastic Paper is a festival of animation and puppet films that will run at the Park Theatre in Winnipeg, Canada on May 5-8 and is presented by the Big Smash! Film Collective. The program, listed below, includes short films, features, documentaries, installations and special events.

The feature films include Rocaterrania, Brett Ingram’s documentary on scientific illustrator and secret fantasy artist Renaldo Kuhler; 2010 Oscar nominated film The Secret of Kells; the little seen 1982 environmental and animal activist film The Plague Dogs; a new surreal work by underground animator Bruce Bickford; and more.

For special events, there will be a continuously-running video installation by Winnipeg animator Leslie Supnet called How to Care for Introverts; a one-day Master Class taught by the legendary Bill Plympton; a Saturday morning cartoon feast; a T-shirt making class; and more.
