Disney XD‘s breakout comedy Crash & Bernstein has been picked up for a second season. Production will resume in Van Nuys, California in July for a fall 2013 premiere. Created by Eric Friedman and executive-produced by Friedman, Mike Larsen, Jim Armogida and Steve Armogida, the multi-camera series stars Cole Jensen, Tim Lagasse, Oana Gregory, Landry Bender and Aaron R. Landon. It follows Wyatt Bernstein (Jensen), a typical boy who lives in a household full of girls and desperately wishes for a brother to do fun guy stuff with. His family takes Wyatt to a Build-A-Bestie for his birthday, which leads to his dream finally coming true — his Bestie creation, Crash (Lagasse), a wildly unpredictable puppet, comes to life. Together, the new “brothers” help each other navigate life’s adventures.

I think Crash & Bernstein is the funniest show on television (with Futurama placing a close second.)
The writing is very, very clever.
I honestly think that the people who knock this show have never seen it. In contrast to the drivel on network tv (Two and Half Men, etc), Crash & Bernstein delivers consistent laughs without repeating itself ad nauseum.
It’s fitting that the star is a Muppet, because the humor reminds me of the revolutionary jokes featured in Jim Henson’s bits on the early episodes of Saturday Night Live.
Absolutely 5 stars.
Vive le Crash!!
Meanwhile, outstanding XD series like Tron: Uprising are burned off on Sunday late nights before being cancelled.
And we wonder why our children are getting dumber and dumber. XD, Nick Jr., and their ilk are all locked out on our cable boxes.
@Nervis, This is said in general, this isn’t just said towards you.
Don’t blame television for your child’s incompetence, blame yourself for relying on television to teach the said child. If you want your child to learn, your yourself should find the time to sit down and teach him/her (Even if he/she does go to school). There’s a reason why The T.V. is called “The Poison Box”.
