The sports docuseries follows several NASCAR drivers during the 2024 playoffs, and is executive produced by Dale Earnhardt Jr, who also appears in the series to offer some insight.

Full Speed season two tells the “tales of triumph and tenacity fuel this high-octane sports docuseries following NASCAR Cup Series drivers on and off the track during the playoffs.”

Among the drivers featured on this season include Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, Daniel Suarez, Christopher Bell, William Byron and Chase Briscoe.

Anthony Anderson took over Good Morning America, and Michael Strahan couldn’t do anything to stop him.

The recent GMA episode featured the Black-ish and G20 actor stopping by to chat with Michael, George Stephanopoulos, Rebecca Jarvis, and Lara Spencer.

Things got off to a hot start as Anthony shared that he showed up at the studio around the same time as the staff.

“I showed up when y’all showed up. I never been on this hour of Good Morning America!” he exclaimed as Michael tried to introduce him.

“You never cease to amaze us. You always got somethin’!” the GMA anchor told him as the interview began.

Anthony revealed that the car came to pick him up at his hotel at 6:45 a.m., but he had just walked into the hotel at 6:30 a.m., putting him in what Michael called “dangerous territory.”

Network executives once came to the upfronts on a mission to get advertisers excited about a handful of new series coming in the fall. This year, TV’s big players took a T-shirt cannon approach.

Every one of the major presentations during the May 13-15 sprint in midtown Manhattan — NBCUniversal, Fox, Disney, Amazon, Warner Bros. Discovery and Netflix — emphasized the breadth of the company’s content offerings. Call it the everything-everywhere-all-at-once strategy for the streaming age.

As always, common themes emerged across the week. “Connections” was the buzziest of buzzwords used by executives pitching their hearts out from the stage. Without question, the song of Upfronts ’24, the one heard at most if not all events, was Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ’Em.”

After sorting through the firehose of shows and spin, here are a few trends that stood out this year.

1) Star-Power Surge

Last year, the writers strike kept boldface names from appearing at the upfronts.

Amazon Prime Video made its first upfront presentation to advertisers on Tuesday in New York, with the streamer bringing out some of its biggest stars to break some news while touting its original series, film and sports offerings.

Amazon took over Pier 36 in Manhattan, which included a large installation dedicated to Amazon shows like “Fallout” and “The Summer I Turned Pretty” as well as movies like “Road House” and their various sports offerings like “Thursday Night Football.”

Amazon’s first major upfront started half an hour late — the long line to get in was referenced several times by Amazon MGM Studios head Jen Salke and even “You’re Cordially Invited” stars Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. But once inside, advertisers were presented a star-studded litany of projects and news designed to make a huge splash in the marketplace.
