Charlie started his professional acting career in 1999 when he made his film debut in Purely Belter. Since then he has graduated from Newcastle College with a HND in Musical Theatre and Sunderland University with a BA Hons in Performing Arts. Charlie is currently represented by Janet Plater Management.
Over the years Charlie has performed a variety of roles on both stage and screen, playing characters such as Brian the "WAG" from the Pot Noodle adverts or Gary the '£1000 man' in the Moneysupermarket commercials. His other recent credits include the role of PC Neil Sidwell in Inspector George Gently (BBC), SGT Bull in Joe Maddison's War (ITV) Paul the Brazilian Beach Towel for Pot Noodle (World-cup Campaign).
