Bob Odenkirk Wanted to Make a ‘Sad Movie’ About Chris Farley’s Matt Foley Character
Image
Thanks to the success of Wayne’s World, the ‘90s was chock-full of Saturday Night Live movies of questionable quality. There was It’s Pat, Stuart Saves His Family and A Night at the Roxbury, which turned a dialogue-free sketch about head-bobbing coke fiends into an 82-minute monstrosity.

Despite the glut of SNL movies, some of the show’s best recurring characters from that decade never made it to the big screen, one of very funniest being Matt Foley — the motivational speaker who lives in a van down by the river — who was, of course, played by the late Chris Farley.

Foley was created by Farley and Bob Odenkirk, back when he was merely a Second City performer, and not a legit movie star. Odenkirk recently guested on the podcast Mike Birbiglia’s Working It Out, where he explained the character’s origins, while also lamenting the lack of a Foley-based motion picture.

Chelsea Handler Reveals the One Regret She Has About Life After ‘Chelsea Lately’: ‘I Had to Regrow My Audience’ | Video
Image
After her seven-year run on late-night show “Chelsea Lately,” audiences wouldn’t see Chelsea Handler return to stand-up comedy for another six years. While visiting “Mike Birbiglia’s Working It Out,” Handler surprised the host by calling the absence an unforced error.

“Big mistake,” Handler said.

“Really?” Birbiglia exclaimed. “I thought you were going to say that it was a great idea!”

“No, now I think about that, and I’m like, wow, it would’ve been better to just keep the ball rolling and get my shit together,” Handler replied. “In those six years, I got my shit together in a huge way, but I didn’t need to take that long of a break, and it affected – I had to regrow my audience, and so I wish I hadn’t done that.”

You can watch the interview clip below.

After hosting “The Chelsea Handler Show” for two seasons...

Pixar Doesn't Think 'Up' Would Ever Work as a Live-Action Remake
Image
While some older Disney fans may find the live-action Lilo and Stitch to be a disgrace to the original animated film, the film's box office success is a major green light for the studio's live-action remakes. The remake ended up being a completely different version of the 2002 animated film, but still proved to be a hit with audiences today. With Lilo & Stich 2 already in production, it's clear that Disney is not slowing down on the trend anytime soon. However, there is one animated film in Disney's catalog that Pixar Cco Pete Docter believes would not work as a live-action film.

Pixar's 2009 animated tear-jerker Upseems to be safe from the fate of most Disney animated films. Docter has proven his directorial chops with his oversight of Monsters, Inc., Up, Soul, and Inside Out, which led him to becoming the Cco of Pixar Animation Studios. Recently, Docter appeared on comedian Mike Birbiglia...

The Real Reason Why Brie Larson Hardly Gets Recognized In Public Despite Being Captain Marvel
Image
Brie Larson Explains Why She’s Almost Never Recognized in Public Despite Being a Marvel Superstar ( Photo Credit – Instagram )

Brie Larson is front and center in one of the biggest superhero sagas of all time; however, she says hardly anyone gives her a second glance in real life. With major titles like Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, and Fast X in her filmography, her face is familiar to millions across the globe. Yet, in her day-to-day routine, the Oscar-winning actor slips by mostly undetected.

So how does someone that famous pull off near-total anonymity? According to Larson, it’s not a trick — it’s simply the way she lives, dressed down and grounded in reality.

Brie Larson Reveals She’s Rarely Recognized Off-Screen

Brie Larson, who won the Academy Award for Room and went on to lead massive blockbusters, recently spoke about why she rarely draws attention in public spaces. On...

Pixar Boss Comments on Making the Studio's First Live-Action Movie
Image
Pixar may be known for its groundbreaking animation, but could a live-action project be in the studio's future? In a recent interview, Pixar chief creative officer Pete Docter addressed the idea again, admitting the company hasn't fully ruled out the possibility. While Pixar has built its legacy on animated classics like Toy Story and Inside Out, Morris left the door open with a simple answer.

Pixar may one day take a surprising leap into live action, at least, according to Cco Pete Docter. While speaking on Mike Birbiglia's Working It Out podcast, Docter was asked whether the beloved animation studio would ever follow in Disney's footsteps and create a live-action reimagining.

After initially saying "probably not," he reconsidered, ultimately leaving the door open, "Who knows:"

This Oscar-Winning Classic Was Voted The Best Animated Movie Of The 21st Century
Image
The New York Times released a list of the best films released since 2000, and it's probably not a huge surprise that Bong Joon-ho's 2019 masterpiece (and 2020's best picture winner) "Parasite" took the top spot. The rest of the top 10 was, in my quite humble opinion, pretty great; David Lynch's "Mulholland Drive" came in at number two, "There Will Be Blood" at number three, and exceptional films like "Get Out," "In the Mood for Love," and "The Social Network" rounded out the very top of the list. The ninth spot, though, belongs to the only animated movie in the top 10: "Spirited Away," the 2001 movie by animation master Hayao Miyazaki.

After calling the film a take on Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" for a new generation and praising its wonderfully unique characters, the Times extolled the movie's virtues and intention, writing, "Beautifully uniting the master animator's preoccupations — man's corruption of nature,...

‘What’s the good life?’ Mike Birbiglia on his latest Netflix comedy special and meeting Pope Francis
Image
From the outside, comedian Mike Birbiglia might enjoy what some would call “the good life.” He’s an Emmy Award nominee for Best Variety Special Writing for The Old Man and the Pool, one of several stand-up specials Birbiglia has released in the last decade, he’s won a Drama Desk Award (for The New One) and a Screen Actors Guild Awards prize as part of the ensemble of Orange Is the New Black. He’s married with a young daughter, and as he details in his new special, perhaps aptly named Mike Birbiglia: The Good Life, he even got to meet the late Pope Francis.

“Meeting Pope Francis was very moving, and I think it was very inspirational,” Birbiglia says on the latest episode of the Gold Derby podcast Awards Magnet. “He was deeply kind, loving, and compassionate person who wanted change for the Catholic Church, and he wanted...

Comedians get serious: how the personal lives, loss and growth shaped their game-changing Netflix specials
Image
Taking the stage at the Comedy Store on the Sunset Strip, Jamie Foxx took a long look around and soaked up the atmosphere of the legendary main room.

“I ain't been in this motherf--ker in 35 years!” he announced, noting that some people in the audience for "Netflix Is a Joke Presents: Fysee L.A. Comedy Night" weren’t old enough to remember comedy icons like Robin Williams and Richard Pryor, who trod the same stage and are immortalized with their photos on the club’s walls.

The 57-year-old Oscar winner was on hand for a Q&a with his influencer daughter Corinne to discuss his comedy special What Had Happened Was…, in which he triumphantly returned to the stage following the debilitating 2023 stroke that took nearly a year for Foxx to recover from.

But first, he grew a little nostalgic, recalling sneaking into the club as an underage aspiring comic...

Mike Birbiglia’s Dad Gave Him World’s Briefest Sex Talk
Image
Much of Mike Birbiglia’s new Netflix special, The Good Life, wrestles with the comic’s distant relationship with his aging father. When Mike was growing up, Dr. Vince Birbiglia was a practicing physician who got a law degree in his spare time so he wouldn’t have to while away his off-hours parenting.

That meant Mike and his dad didn’t share many of the rite-of-passage moments that others might, including a fatherly explanation of the birds and the bees. That left the young comedian confused as he entered his teenage years. For example, Birbiglia explains that when he was 12, he had hard nipples. Later in life, he learned that it was a physical condition that sometimes occurs during puberty. Birbiglia emphasized the “sometimes,” because he found out that hard nipples aren’t universal when he mustered the courage to share that information with his college roommate.

“He laughed for five minutes straight,...

Mike Birbiglia’s ‘Good Life’ Special Isn’t Afraid of the Big Emotions
Image
Maybe it’s serendipity that Mike Birbiglia and Sarah Silverman released their new Netflix specials just a week apart, considering that both devote so much comedy to elderly parents knocking on death’s door. In PostMortem, Silverman worries aloud that the topic is too heavy for stand-up, reflexively reaching for provocative punchlines whenever the feelings get too real. Birbiglia takes the opposite approach in his new special, The Good Life, leaning into the big emotions even when it means momentarily putting aside the laughs.

That’s nothing new for Birbiglia, whose comedy specials feel like especially funny episodes of NPR’s This American Life. In The Good Life, Birbiglia finds himself stretched thin by his dual roles as parent and son. How do you support an ailing parent with whom you’ve never been close? And how do you answer the big questions as your kids grow old enough to ask them?...

Mike Birbiglia Took ‘The Good Life’ From Stage to Screen in 60 Days. Here’s How
Image
In his twenties, the comedian, director, and actor Mike Birbiglia learned to play the guitar because of its theatrical simplicity. “I always admired people who could walk into a bar and just… that’s the show,” he tells me. He liked the idea of not having to tech beforehand. No sound check. No cast. “I am the — this is the show. And I feel like this one’s the closest to that. You can walk into a bar and go, Mike’s gonna tell a story.”

“This one” is Birbiglia...

Netflix is adding 11 movies and series this week
Image
Netflix adds more gripping thriller series, more true crime, comedy, and as always, a show for the kids. I'm not sure, but I believe those are all separate entries. Let's dive in and find out.

You can always rely on Netflix for shows that will absolutely freak you out, amiright? For me, it's usually the bizarre kiddie shows. Yeah, I know that for some people, it's those behind-the-scenes investigations of some sordid true crime. The great thing about your favorite streaming service is that they have something for everyone. And wow, is that ever true this week.

Based on their taglines, the penultimate offerings this week seem like they've been stolen from the Hallmark and Lifetime channels. I mean, two of the three movies involve widows. You know that's the main character in every other movie on those channels.

Then again, if they were that cheesy, they would be on...

Sarah Silverman Laughs in the Face of Death in Her New Netflix Special
Image
Dead family members aren’t all that funny, and Sarah Silverman knows it. But Silverman’s dad isn’t any ordinary dead relative. Schleppy Silverman is a crucial part of her comedian origin story, teaching her swearing as a second language at an early age. She showed off her skills in grocery stores as a toddler, basking in the positive (and negative) attention. A potty-mouthed stand-up comic was born.

When Schleppy and Silverman’s stepmom, Janice, passed away last year, nine days apart, it was inevitable that Silverman would reconcile her grief through comedy. But that’s a high-wire act that few comedians can pull off. As much as Silverman’s fans would want to share her sorrow, the prospect sounds like a heavy night at the comedy club.

Silverman lets the crowd know they needn't worry in her new Netflix special, PostMortem. “They both gave me so much,” she...

Jimmy Kimmel Live! gives an update on its hiatus
Image
Jimmy Kimmel Live! went dark last week, leaving late-night TV without one of its signature shows. But ABC has an update about what to expect from Jimmy Kimmel and his team.

Kimmel's absence came at an unfortunate time. The week was packed with the type of stories that usually make his monologues a must-watch. President Donald Trump's interest in accepting Qatar's gift of a new plane was the biggest story to go by without Kimmel's commentary.

Perhaps Kimmel will catch up on that story when Jimmy Kimmel Live! returns with brand-new episodes tonight. ABC announced the show is back this week, ending its brief hiatus.

Fans will definitely be happy to see Kimmel back on the air this week. We're also nearing his annual summer vacation, so the comedian's time on ABC is limited this time of year.

Who's on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week?

ABC released the lineup...

2 can’t-miss stand-up comedy specials hitting Netflix before may wraps up
Image
We all need a good laugh, don't we? What is laughter but a release of stress? We know life can be full of bad stuff. Thankfully, we have professionals who can help with that.

And I am not talking about therapists. Mental health professionals are needed and helpful, but we can augment that with stand-up comedians. They will take your mind off things for an hour or so if they are good at their work.

Coming in May are two comedians at the top of their games. They approach comedy differently, but there are lots of hidden similarities. Ultimately, both are going to make you giggle.

These 2 stand-up specials arriving in May should be must-watch for Netflix fansSarah Silverman: PostMortem - May 20

This one won't be for the kiddos. Silverman is not afraid to offend, but she never does so from meanness. She isn't trying to truly poke fun...

Hartbeat-Produced Stand-Up Doc ‘Group Therapy’ Debuts on Prime Video | Exclusive
Image
“Group Therapy,” an intimate exploration of mental health from some of the comedians who’ve shared their darkest — and funniest — life struggles on stage, is now streaming on Prime Video, TheWrap can reveal exclusively.

The feature-length documentary from Emmy-nominated filmmaker Neil Berkeley chronicles a group therapy session — led by actor Neil Patrick Harris — with Tig Notaro, Mike Birbiglia, Gary Gulman, Atsuko Osaka, Nicole Byer and British comic London Hughes, as they discuss the relationship between their professional and mental health journeys.

Notaro shares her devastating cancer diagnosis; Birbiglia jokes about his bizarre sleepwalking nightmares; Gulman shares his lifelong battle with depression; Japanese comic Atsuko Osaka talks about her mother’s schizophrenia; Nicole Byer jokes that she loses her keys a few times a day because of Adhd; and Hughes dealt with insecurity and lack of opportunity as a young Black comic in the UK.

Nathan Lane Remembers Pulling Joaquin Phoenix Aside After He Got Too Intense, Wasted 3 Hours of Filming | Video
Image
Nathan Lane recalled a time when he had to pull Joaquin Phoenix aside to give him an acting tip after noticing his “Beau Is Afraid” co-star getting a little too intense for the film’s comedic undertone.

The conversation came about during Lane’s appearance on Mike Birbiglia’s “Working It Out” podcast last week. The iconic actor and singer discussed how much he loved working with writer-director Ari Aster and Phoenix on “Beau Is Afraid.” However, Lane said Aster gave him a heads up that Phoenix would likely improvise his own lines instead of what was in the script and requested that he keep the “Joker” star on track. Lane said that after three hours of filming, it became clear that was the case and compared Phoenix’s performance to Olivia de Havilland in “Lady in a Cage,” Neither Lane, Aster nor Phoenix were happy with the takes, which...

Ben Stiller Removed Chairs From ‘Walter Mitty’ Set, Has a ‘No Phones’ Rule on ‘Severance’ Because ‘It Drives Me Crazy’
Image
Ben Stiller shared how Noah Baumbach’s directing style rubbed off on him while working on “Greenberg.”

Stiller starred in Baumbach’s 2010 rom-com and recalled on Mike Birbiglia’s “Working It Out” podcast that the director had “no chairs” on set.

“I think it was like 10 days into shooting, and I’m like, ‘Where’s the chairs? Oh my God, there’s no chairs here,'” Stiller said. “And that’s his choice because he doesn’t want to have people sitting around.”

Stiller added that people still found a place to sit down, but it helped keep everyone focused and moving. So, when he directed the adventure comedy “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” a few years later, Stiller adopted Baumbach’s policy.

As Stiller has acted in films from auteur directors like Baumbach and Wes Anderson, he said he has picked up on certain methods of theirs to use on his own projects.

Micaela Wittman Reteams With Director Arthur De Larroche On Dramedy ‘We’re Already There’; Truman Hanks, Jon Bass & Elsie Hewitt Among Others Set
Image
Exclusive: Micaela Wittman and Arthur De Larroche, the indie filmmaking duo behind Remy & Arletta and Clairevoyant, are reteaming on We’re Already There, a dramedy currently in production in New York City.

De Larroche is directing from his script written with Wittman, who leads the cast. Others appearing include Truman Hanks (A Man Called Otto), Jon Bass (Miracle Workers), Elsie Hewitt (Industry), Kevin William Paul (Broadway’s The Outsiders), Jonah Feingold (At Midnight), Jessica Baglow (Gentleman Jack), electronic musician Marc Rebillet (80 for Brady), Francesca Keller (Anyone Else But Me), and Morgane Bensadoun (Blue Bloods).

A dialogue-driven film in the spirit of My Dinner with Andre, We’re Already There follows a disillusioned young artist (Wittman) as she navigates a single day in New York City, grappling with career setbacks, personal revelations, and industry politics, while juggling self-doubt and ambition in the cutthroat world of entertainment.

Joaquin Acrich and Lily Drew (Mike Birbiglia’s The Old Man & the Pool) are producing alongside Manic, the production company from Wittman & Larroche launched last summer.

The Manic duo comes to the project after collaborating on Remy & Arletta and Clairevoyant, which saw Wittman star with De Larroche directing. An adaptation of the same-name bestseller, which premiered at Outfest, the former is a coming-of-age drama that follows Wittman’s Remy as she attempts to balance her relationship with her alcoholic mother and her longtime best friend, Arletta. The film came on the heels of the duo’s 2021 mockumentary Clairevoyant, which follows a spoiled 21-year-old aspiring guru as she attempts to find the meaning of life while filming her journey with a makeshift camera crew.

As an actress, Wittman was recently announced to be starring opposite Julia Fox and Ashley Moore in the sapphic romance, Perfect. She has also been seen in Netflix’s Shirley Chisholm biopic Shirley, as well as such series as The Dropout, Sharp Objects, Atypical, Teen Wolf, and Modern Family.

De Larroche has also appeared as an actor in both Remy & Arletta and Clairevoyant, among other projects. Prior to Clairevoyant, he helmed the indie features American Bistro and If God Wants.

Focused on young adult, female-led and genre agnostic films, Manic’s initial development slate also included the action horror pic Rager, high-concept YA romance I Suck, and female buddy comedy Night on the Town, as we were first to report.

De Larroche is repped by Stewart Talent; Hanks by CAA; Bass by Gersh, Rise Management, and Ziffren Brittenham; Hewitt by Buchwald, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Myman Greenspan Fox; Paul by Artists & Representatives and Lasher Group; Feingold by UTA, Untitled Entertainment, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole; Baglow by Asteria Artists; Rebillet by UTA and Crush Works; Keller by Rebel Creative Group; and Bensadoun by Carol Shaginaw Talent Agency and Brave Artists Management.

‘Group Therapy’ Review: Funny People Bare Serious Problems in a Collective Stand-Up Confessional
Image
Anxiety, depression, addiction, suicidal ideations, cancer diagnoses — we’re not exactly in “take my wife, please” territory with some of today’s more adventurous comedians, who mine their occasionally harrowing personal experience for material. “Group Therapy” gathers half a dozen of them for a free-ranging discussion in front of cameras and a live audience, “hosted” by Neil Patrick Harris. This is not exactly the most profound forum for probing mental health, or comedy’s relationship to it for that matter. Still, Neil Berkeley’s slick feature offers considerable entertainment value in mixing ingratiating personalities, stand-up excerpts and serious issues … even if the result ultimately plays more like a high-concept TV special than a “documentary.”

While their personas run a gamut from Tig Notaro’s lower-than-low-key deadpan to London Hughes’ boisterous style, the comics here share a penchant for using potentially discomfiting autobiographical truths in their act. For some, like Nicole Byer or Atsuko Okatsuka,...

8 best stand-up comedy specials Netflix has streamed
Image
We all love to laugh, right? That ability is part of what separates us from most of the other animals on earth. We know when we are extremely sad, but we know what makes us happy.

Still, not every culture has stand-up comedy either. It is a unique situation. Someone with a microphone is speaking to us for an hour, but it isn't a lecture. They are tasked with building suspense and then delivering a punch-line.

That can be difficult and embarrassing work. When things go bad, everyone knows it. In the case of the eight stand-up specials below, however, almost everything went right.

Eight iconic stand-up comedy specials that have streamed on NetflixJohn Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous at Radio City

Why Lucy Albright From Tell Me Lies Looks So Familiar
Image
Hulu's original series "Tell Me Lies" became a huge and somewhat unexpected hit after its first season released in 2022, and that's probably because its story of a deeply toxic college relationship is just so universal. Based on Carola Lovering's book of the same name and adapted by Meaghan Oppenheimer (who previously worked on "Fear the Walking Dead" and "Queen America"), "Tell Me Lies" splits its timeline in two, telling the twisted "love" story of Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White), who meet at Baird College in upstate New York and carry on an on-again, off-again relationship that ends up creating plenty of collateral damage. In 2008, Stephen and Lucy are carefree students at Baird, but in 2015, they're trapped together at a wedding ... and it's clear that things aren't quite finished between them.

Van Patten, like her co-star White, comes from a Hollywood family (White is...

International Emmys Host Vir Das on His “Public A** Whooping”
Image
“When Vir Das hears an American comedian talk about being “canceled,” he can only laugh.

“Every time an American comedian complains about getting canceled, I’m like: ‘Grab a flight to India, just let me show you something,’ ” says the Indian stand-up comedian and actor.

Three years ago, Das got a taste of cancel culture, Indian style. His “Two Indias” routine, performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington on Nov. 12, 2021, in which he pointed to the absurd contrasts in his home country — “I come from an India where we worship women during the day and gang rape them at night” — triggered a furious backlash. Politicians from India’s ruling Bjp party accused him of defaming the nation and filed criminal charges. He got bombarded with death threats.

“I had seven criminal complaints filed against me, was being charged with sedition and defaming India on foreign soil,” Das recounts in his latest Netflix special,...

Before 'Saturday Night,' Check Out This Great Indie Film About Sketch Comedy
Image
Although there have been many films inspired by the characters and sketches that made their first appearances on Saturday Night Live, the show itself is most responsible for introducing some of the most famous comedic stars of all time. Acclaimed actors like Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Chevy Chase, and Joan Cusack all got a major boost in their careers as a result of the opportunity that Lorne Michales granted them. Although it is a style of humor that can often be hard to pin down, sketch comedy was the subject of the charming indie comedy Dont Think Twice, by writer/director Mike Birbiglia.

Did Taylor Swift Steal This ’30 Rock’ Joke for One of Her Hit Songs?
Image
Was Taylor Swift singing about Cristin Milioti when she remarked that, “Sometimes I feel like everybody is a sexy baby”? And why the hell was “Anti-Hero” a bigger hit than “Muffin Top?”

It’s probably best for everyone that Jenna Maroney from 30 Rock is a fictional character and not a real-life actress/singer, because we can’t imagine the diabolical acts of sabotage she would commit against Taylor Swift for the latter’s crime of being blonder, younger and more successful than the Tgs star. Additionally, the fact that Swift’s insane level of cultural influence drew massive attention to a certain 30 Rock episode would probably cause Jenna’s nose to start gushing blood before the screams start. But when Swift’s single “Anti-Hero” skyrocketed to the top of the charts featuring a lyric that’s suspiciously reminiscent of a certain 30 Rock joke in 2022, that’s exactly...

Hasan Minhaj Reflects on Losing ‘The Daily Show’ Hosting Gig
Image
Hasan Minhaj is looking back at the gig that almost was.

In an interview with Esquire published Wednesday, the comedian reflected on once being the front-runner to succeed Trevor Noah as the host of The Daily Show. But after The New Yorker published a profile last year alleging that Minhaj embellished and made up his onstage anecdotes for his comedy, the offer for the gig was taken away. Jon Stewart went on to replace Noah, appearing on the show once a week.

“We were in talks, and I had the gig, and we were pretty much good to go,” he told Esquire. After the story was published, Minhaj was called and told the job was no longer his.

“It went away,” he said. “That’s part of showbiz.”

In addition to losing the hosting job, Minhaj explained that the “most painful thing” about the public scrutiny that followed was how it impacted his family.

Hasan Minhaj Lost ‘Daily Show’ Host Gig Amid Jokes Scandal; Jon Stewart Called Him and Questioned the Backlash: ‘Why the F— Are They Doing This?’
Image
Hasan Minhaj spoke to Esquire magazine for a new cover story and remembered having a long conversation with Jon Stewart amid the jokes scandal that cost Minhaj one of his dream jobs: hosting Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.” It’s a gig Stewart knows well considering he served as the show’s host from 1999 until 2015 and is currently back behind the desk once a week through the 2024 presidential election.

Minhaj confirmed to Esquire that “The Daily Show” job was his, saying: “We were in talks, and I had the gig, and we were pretty much good to go.” Then controversy erupted after The New Yorker published a profile of Minhaj and fact-checked some of his jokes. It was revealed that Minhaj had embellished several stories for his stand-up acts and in the resulting backlash “The Daily Show” hosting gig “went away. That’s part of showbiz.”

Per Esquire: “In the aftermath of the story,...

Lorne Michaels Has ‘No Immediate Plan’ to Leave ‘Saturday Night Live’ After Season 50

Lorne Michaels is giving Saturday Night Live an anniversary gift. As the show enters its 50th season, the sketch-comedy show’s creator has presented it with the gift of his continued involvement in it. In 2020, Michaels planted the seeds of the idea that he would exit the show following this milestone, but has since made a decision to ride it out until the end, whenever that might be.

“It’s more about keeping it on course than anything else, and, obviously, I really love it,” Michaels told the Hollywood Reporter.
