Popular band leader and pianist from the mid-1920's, who broadcast for many years from The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville. Craig recorded for Columbia, Decca and MGM and had massive hits in 1947 and 1948, respectively, with the songs "Near You" and "Beg Your Pardon" (both written by himself).
