Paddy is an award winning actor, IFTA & Royal Television Society nominated screenwriter and voice over artist. Following a successful fifteen year career as a stand-up comedian, Paddy hung up his comedy mic in 2011 to concentrate on screenwriting and acting.
Paddy writes live action and animation for adults and children. His writing credits include, RTEjr show 'Dig in Diner,' RTE animation 'Funny Little Monsters' and the animation series 'Jessy & Nessy' for Amazon Prime. He is also part of the writing team behind series one and two of the live action RTE comedy drama for teens 'Blasts From The Past.'
His onscreen credits include 'Safe' for Netflix, 'Houdini & Doyle' for Fox TV, 'Shameless' for Channel 4 and 'George Gently' for BBC, as well as many appearances on Irish TV; 'Fir Bolg,' 'Rasai Na Gaillimhe' 'The South Westerlies' & 'Paddywhackery,' which he co-wrote as well as playing the lead role, which led to three IFTA nominations.
