Jimmy The Exploder is an award-winning Australian writer, director and producer.
His feature film production company Antipodes (which he co-founded with New Zealand-born producer Mitchell McLennan) is based between Perth, Australia and New York City.
The Exploder wrote and co-produced the hit 2008 Australian film 'The Black Balloon', winner of 6 AACTA Awards including 'Best Film' and 'Best Screenplay'.
In 2022 he was in post-production on a Smashing Pumpkins documentary 'The Arising' and financing the Dallas set 'Luka Magic' which he is slated to write and direct.
In 2023 it was reported that he was producing and directing a feature-length documentary 'Stunt Man' about legendary 'Mad Max' stunt coordinator Grant Page.
