Sweet dreams, Brian Wilson. The world is already a lonelier place without him, after the news of his death on Wednesday, the week before his 83rd birthday. For the ultimate poet of summer, it’s fitting that he left the planet in June, right where he came in — the California boy who sang “The Lonely Sea,” the tortured genius who wrote one of the most mournful melodies imaginable and called it “The Warmth of the Sun,” the most beloved of American songwriters. Brian spent his life turning his pain and...

FBI: Most Wanted first hit screens in 2020 as the first spin-off of Dick Wolf’s hit series FBI. It was created by René Balcer and followed the story of the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force as they tracked down America’s most dangerous criminals. Apart from the interesting storyline, the show also featured a stunning cast, including Julian McMahon, Kellan Lutz, Roxy Sternberg, and Shantel VanSanten, among others.
Over six seasons, FBI: Most Wanted managed to build a loyal fanbase with its high-stakes action and emotional depth. So, because of this, fans were sure that a Season 7 would also be on the horizon.
However, things took a turn for the worse when CBS announced in March 2025 that the seventh season was canceled. So, why did the network cancel a well-performing show? Let’s dive into the real reasons behind its end.

Hip-hop has been around for decades. It has had a huge influence on shaping culture and fashion and has become a powerful voice for telling stories. The genre has been used by minorities for ages to talk about hard-hitting social topics like discrimination and injustice.
Although hip-hop has been around for a long time, giving listeners gems like Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G., Wu-Tang Clan, and Eazy-e, who defined the way we know hip-hop today, it had a hard time reaching a larger audience due to the lack of internet access. Unlike today, where the ease of streaming songs has skyrocketed hip-hop’s prominence, this means more people have started to listen to music and have garnered interest in the lives of their favorite artists.
And what better way to tell a story about someone than to make a movie about them? So let’s look at some films...

It’s officially been five decades since Monty Python and the Holy Grail first delighted audiences and boosted the coconut shell industry. To celebrate the iconic 1975 comedy’s 50th anniversary, the BBC recently chatted with every surviving member of Monty Python, minus John Cleese and Eric Idle, who were presumably too busy rage-tweeting about the U.S. president and/or each other.
But just because they’re available for interviews doesn’t mean that fans should be expecting another Python reunion any time soon, as one member made clear.
Michael Palin noted that The Holy Grail very nearly didn’t happen because not everyone in the group was into the idea of following up Monty Python’s Flying Circus with a movie. “It was by no means unanimous that we should do a film after the television series,” Palin recalled, pointing out that two of the Pythons were busy working on their own TV projects,...

There are many Marvel fans who have forgotten that, before becoming Captain America, Anthony Mackie once took on a very different kind of battle on screen – against Eminem in the Oscar-winning drama 8 Mile. Taking part in a rap battle with one of the greatest rap-stars of all-time can be a daunting task, but what made the scene ever more notable was that Eminem ensured that it included a very calculated and personal “attack” on Mackie himself.
In the 2002 drama, Mackie played Clarence, aka Papa Doc, the leader of the Free World rap group who takes on Eminem’s B-Rabbit in the movie’s climactic rap battle. What many people did not realize is that among the shots taken at Mackie’s character were not actually about the character, but some were personal shots taken at Mackie himself. The Green Day icon is joining the ownership group of the Oakland Ballers, the new (and as of this coming season) only professional baseball team in Northern California’s East Bay. Isla and her best friend Ali Lee (Brenda Song) are set to make waves (no pun intended) within the professional basketball franchise the Los Angeles Waves, when Isla gets promoted to president of the team. She has all sorts of upstream swimming to do in the role as her brothers doubt her capabilities and the players don’t exactly take her seriously, but she has many tricks up her sleeve, and she has been paying attention to the game since she was a little girl.
Several needle drops accompany big moments in the show, from Tupac’s “California Love” opening...

We didn’t know whether to laugh or shudder when Suzanne Collins dropped a truth bomb about The Hunger Games. Turns out, the dystopian masterpiece wasn’t sparked by some grand, philosophical epiphany; it was inspired by reality TV shows. Yes, those over-the-top, drama-filled spectacles we love to binge-watch.

The connection feels pretty bizarre until you think about it, and then it’s uncomfortably spot-on.

When Suzanne Collins revealed that The Hunger Games drew inspiration from reality TV and war coverage, it felt both bizarre and eerily fitting. The dystopian tale, where a brutal government pits children against each other in televised death matches, was rooted in unsettling truths.
Collins confessed she got the idea while flipping between reality shows and war footage one night.

Kanye West, a man who once reigned supreme in the fashion world, has unveiled his latest creation: a risqué lingerie line for his struggling Yzy brand, heavily inspired by his wife, Bianca Censori.
The unveiling, predictably, was met with a chorus of groans and eye rolls. The pièce de résistance: a skimpy black thong bodysuit that barely qualifies as clothing. Critics were quick to chime in, with one Twitter user dubbing it “the Bianca Censori Covid mask,” a scathing indictment of its sheer, almost non-existent nature. “Is that a grocery bag?” another quipped, while others questioned the practicality and comfort of the design.

The entertainment industry has been thriving on drama, ambition, and sometimes, tales that are too bizarre to be true. One such story comes from Chopper, a rapper who was tasked with fetching a cheesecake for Beyoncé.
Diddy | Wendy Williams Show / YouTube
But there’s more to the story, and it also involves Diddy, the most controversial man as of now, with multiple allegations. This cheesecake saga is unfortunately not the end of Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s alleged involvement with Diddy.

During an interview with The Art of Dialogue, Chopper, a rapper, spoke about a seemingly straightforward errand he was given, i.e., getting a cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. But he then revealed that it was a four-hour walk to the place, and then four hours back again, a total of 8-hour journey.
It ended up being for Beyoncé!

If Peacock’s premature attempt to document the Diddy debacle is any indication of the criminal trial to come, then Sean Combs is in for a hell of a media circus.
The earliest in a series of upcoming true crime projects centering the disgraced rapper, “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy” started filming shortly after Combs’ arrest on September 16, 2024. It hits streaming on Tuesday amid ongoing pretrial matters and features new interviews with several people close to the case — including Combs’ childhood friends, two accusers, a former bodyguard, opposing legal representatives, hip-hop journalists, and more — in a production otherwise notable for its editorial incoherence.
Right now, Diddy’s defense team is awaiting details on three federal charges outlined in a surprisingly short indictment from last fall. Those include sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering: a sprawling and complex claim related to an alleged criminal enterprise that...

While rapper beefs are a dime a dozen these days, two of the biggest pop stars of the ‘80s and ‘90s were reportedly in a lifelong feud. Michael Jackson, who was known as the King of Pop, was reportedly feuding with his contemporary Prince during their heyday. Many instances of the two dissing each other in creative ways have come to light.
While the two had publicly denied any animosity between them at the time, Jackson reportedly wrote about Prince in a discarded chapter in his memoir where he recounted all the issues they had. Apart from rejecting Mj’s request to feature on Bad, Prince also reportedly dissed the Thriller singer in a song, mocking his appearance.

The internet has rediscovered Eminem's old sketches of classic Marvel Comics superheroes. For many, his influence on hip hop music is enough to practically make Eminem a superhero of the rap genre. However, his avid appreciation of superheroes and comic books, as well as his impact on them, is too prevalent to overlook.
Reddit user GAMMAGREEN62 recently unearthed drawings that were originally released in Eminem's 2009 autobiography, The Way I Am. Among these drawings - which also include depictions of the likes of Tupac and 50 Cent - are Marvel superheroes. Update, 6:15 Pm: “To everyone in Chicago and across America, thank you,” proclaimed Kamala Harris tonight from Milwaukee as Democratic National Convention almost unanimously declared the Vice President their party’s White House nominee in a rockin’ ceremonial roll call.
In a new unconventional twist, the convention went split screen and then a cut to the VP and running mate Governor Tim Walz at a packed rally in the Wisconsin city proved the first look at the candidate on Day 2 of the DNC.
