Gena Lashay

Gena Lashay is a native of Sarasota, Florida. She attended and graduated from Booker Visual and Performing Arts High School where her passion for the arts and storytelling was ignited through theater. She is also an award-winning, published, plus-size model. She recently broadened her horizons into TV and film by landing several national commercials, and a supporting role in feature films Get Close and Get Close 2 as Juanita Turner. Gena also starred in the movie depiction of best-selling novel, Destiny A Love Story Gone Wrong with a breakthrough performance as Maureen Marx.
